Olympiakos logo doesn't seem to be working. Odd. You should likely make mention of that in the feedback thread.

You'd think an MLS marquee match up like Seattle vs Portland would have a better time slot on a Saturday than 3pm EST. I know its going up against the NCAA semis, but c'mon! Even Sunday would be better.

All I can say is "MLS is gonna MLS." I mean they're notorious for doing stupid things like that or putting games on channels that nobody watches.

Hopefully their next TV deal fixes some of those issues.

I'm really hoping for better coverage with their next deal in the States. Here in Canada the coverage is already pretty great.

Every Vancouver and Toronto game is available nationally, plus a good handful of Montreal games.

All impact games are available in french in Quebec.

Plus we get almost all the major match ups from around MLS.

It's so fun watching Seattle lose.

Great to see Maximiliano Urruti score too.

New York now up 2-1 over Montreal.

I seriously see them as the Heat of MLS...uugh. What a goal by Urruti! Potential goal of the week winner right there. What a game indeed.

I didn't hate Seattle until they added Dempsey, guy just comes across as such a dirty player for some reason.

Any highlights despite the score?

Who had the better chances? Who held the possession?

SKC definitely had the better chances, which pretty much made our backup GK Jeff Attinella our MotM. Frustrating seeing that we can make a legit starting 11 with all of our injured players right now. I guess we're better off getting the injury bug now rather than later in the season.

Just saw the highlights of the Seattle/Portland game. That was an incredible match. I'm happy Dempsey finally put in a good performance, hopefully he keeps it up until the WC.

Man, the Timbers' back line is awful. Between Kah, Futty, and the guy from Argentina, they're just not cutting it. Wish we had brought back Silvestre. Was probably the best CB in MLS last year before the knee injury and was a valuable asset on the bench as a coach as the season went on. You can definitely tell how much his experience is missed this year with how unorganized everything looks.

Giving up that goal to the Chivas player was a terrible lapse of focus.

I wonder if anyone in the world is willing to bet against a draw in next weeks RSLvsPTFC tie. :banghead:

Haha would it even be possible for the Timbers to make the playoffs simply by getting one point out of every remaining game this season with a tie? Seems like that's here it's headed.

That's funny, I liked Dempsey until he went to Seattle. I find it really hard to like anyone on that team.

Not sure if there's a better forum/thread for this, but what do you all think of MLS expansion?

I'm not concerned about the immediate financial well being of the league but I am worried that adding five teams will dilute the talent pool and set the overall quality of play in MLS back 5-10 years.

Do you agree, or do you think that MLS can attract enough talent from "overseas" to maintain or improve the level of play?

I think MLS is fine for awhile. Many top American players are coming back home to MLS from Europe, older players are coming over once they hit the twilight of their careers, and we have a steady flood of South American and African talent coming over for a better paycheck than what's available to them back home. That should be enough to feed expansion.

With NYC, Orlando, and Miami coming into the fold, that puts the league at 22 which I don't think would dilute the talent pool.

I would like to see teams in Atlanta and Austin/San Antonio next.
