You go with what works. Everyone is playing a lot of minutes. Battier has been keeping him down. You stay with that.

You place far more emphasis on Battier's defense on Melo than his bum shoulder than I do; the same issue that had him go 5-14 with 9 turnovers against Washington, largely covered by Trevor Ariza, of all people. There was a better design against a chucking JR than hoping he'd miss as LeBron worked on his extended conditioning for the Ironman Challenge.

i didnt know he had a bum shoulder until a few posts later.

42 of NYK's 88 FGA were 3-pointers.

How does that happen? Literally almost half their shots were 3's.
