THE RACE FOR 7TH.... or is it 6TH?!!!

Indiana playing horribly prompted me to make this GT. Loser of this game may actually be winning with a Pacers team dismantling before the NBA world's eyes.

I'm actually hoping for a loss here. Almost a must lose if we want to slip to 7.

Is Nene actually going to be back for this one? Any official sources?

Is Indiana loosing on purpose or what? They lost 7 out of 10 including today's game with Atlanta Hawks. They are playing sh*t right now and Hibbert looking like a rookie who don't know what to do on the basketball court. 0/5 FG -19 in just 9 minutes?

Isn't it a smoke screen?

Bobcats? Sorry Marcin.. but Al Jefferson is gonna dominate you once more( or maybe not :P). It's that kind of a game you don't know if losing it wouldn't be a better option.

Last few games of the season are so predictable... some teams aren't even pretending they are trying to win .

Nene (knee) may come off the bench upon his return from injury, the Washington Post's Michael Lee reports. (about 1 day ago)

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/854/nene-hilario

Wizards coach Randy Wittman isn't sure whether Nene (knee) will start or come off the bench when he returns, which could be as soon as Wednesday.

There is no official return date for Nene but he's "getting closer" and should at least return during the regular season. "Like when he came back from injury the first time, [we will consider] bringing him off the bench, maybe," Wittman said. "But we'll have to look at it, see where he's at, what he's thinking and how he would like to have that transpire, too." Trevor Booker, Al Harrington and Drew Gooden all stand to lose playing time upon Nene's return WP

Wizards’ Nene likely to come off the bench when he returns
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wiz ... e-returns/

Hopefully its AH except against slow teams.

With Nene back for size, I hope they use Otto for range instead of Big Cheese. Something tell me if given the chance, Otto could be the X factor. He has gotten a lot of practice in working on speeding up his release and it looked pretty good in the 3 attempts we saw from 3 land over the last two games. And something tell me the big lights aren't going to scare him. Truth be told. They have been planning this all year. No on has any tape on him.

Everybody wants Wizards to lose, so we're probably in for another #SoWizards moment and watch them dismantle the Bobcats. Better start getting ready for Toronto.

I'm amazed that anyone here could think it'd be a good idea to slip to #7 in order to play Indiana. The Pacers are a much, much better team than the Wizards and would have no difficulty moving us out of their path.

Ditto the idea that all of a sudden players who have been productive don't know how to play the game.

From another point of view, were we to slip below Charlotte...? how could anyone claim that our 4-year so-called "rebuild" had been successful!

That makes this a must-win game for Wizards management.

The Pacers WERE a much, much better team than the Wizards. :)

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I wrote this in the around the nba game discussion thread so Ill just post it here:

man Indy looks so bad. Looks worst than Toronto, Chicago, or BK. At this point you might wanna be the 7th seed. This Bobcats game is almost starting to look like a win win situation........lol

All in all this game and the rest of our season comes down to Witt's lineups & rotations which I have lil faith in but if he does it right then we are going to give everyone hell and if he doesnt then we will look like the same inconsistent piece of crap

I hope we slip to 7th so we can play those turds from Indiana and whip them. They look awful, they scored 25 points in a half, AGAINST THE HAWKS! Vogel benched the starters because they sucked so much. I also want the bobcats to play the raptors in the first round. The bobcats would own them and Big Al will feast on their pathetic frontcourt.

 at people thinking we can beat Indy. Have you been watching this team?

What is more likely: a Randy Wittman-led clicking on offense/defense over a seven-game series? Or the Pacers shutting off the paint against Wall leading to him bricking midrange jumpers and refusing to attack, Ariza going cold, and Beal shooting 4-15 on long twos each game. Yeah, Indiana will be shaking in their boots..

However at this point I'd much rather watch us lose to the Pacers, than watch us lose to a team like the Raptors.

Chemistry is a funny thing. They are 12-12 since moving Granger for Turner.

And the majority of those wins are against teams like BOS, PHI, DET, MIL and LAL

+1. Indiana still has the same players they had at the beginning of this year when they were playing great and last year when they pushed Miami to the brink. They will turn it on once the playoffs start. I don't want any part of either Indiana or Miami. I'd rather go up against another inexperienced team like the Raptors.

I dont agree with that. I would still rather play those guys last like you say but Im not nearly as worried about them as you 2 are. They arent the Heat. They havent shown a history of great pedigree like the Spurs or anything. Who is to say that they are that capable of flipping a switch?

Also, those other great teams have HOF type players. Indy has a bunch of guys who are great if they play at there best but there average game leaves alot to be desired. The fact is that most of them were playing well over there heads. George has had a solid career but most thought Wall has been better then him every year. This year PG was looking like he was on the Lebron-Durant level. Thats why they were dominant. When he came back down to earth, the whole team crumbled.

Hibbert is the biggest guy in the league but his FG% is always that of a guard. Lance is a very good all around player but do you really fear him? The same with Hill. West is the constant but is he to be feared? Especially when you have a Nene. I could easily see that team struggling with nearly anyone in these playoffs because they struggle to score. They were getting by because of PG's insane level of play and a historic defensive performance from the squad. Neither were or are sustainable.

The 2 guys you fear the most on there team just so happen to play the same spot as Ariza & Nene. I think those guys could definitely hold down PG & West. You do that then its anything is possible after that
