Patty Mills
Im assuming you guys plan on resigning him. What do you guys think he will get? Im a Bobcats fan, and Id love for him to play behind Walker.

Re: Patty Mills
I love him and I hope we can resign him. Something similar too Danny Green's deal would be fair. He's a great role player but nothing more.

Re: Patty Mills
He is one of those players that is good in small stretches. However, if he is given too much responsibility he crumbles. I'm sure he thinks he is a starter in this league and I'm sure someone will offer him starter money after the year he is having. I don't expect him here next year.

Re: Patty Mills
Ideally, he gets 3 year 10 million. I can see him getting 3 year 12 million. If he gets more than that, we should just let him go.
I don't think someone will offer him starter money though. I don't see a team out there that sorely need him to be a starter. And I think GMs are smart enough to know that Patty needs a playmaking SG next to him.

Re: Patty Mills
Patty is super confident but he is also smart enough to know he doesn't have the skills or experience yet to be a starter.
His vision is ok but his handles aren't good enough to be a starting point guard. Nor his driving. He has hugely improved (probably thanks to TP) but often gets in the lane and throws up junk.
And he doesn't have the height or D to be a small shooting guard.
I'm sure he knows all that. Some of the best players in the league are bench players and Patty needs to keep polishing his game to make sure he stays an important role player. I'd hate to see him leave though.
