Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
possibly all of them.
I see nothing special about Januzaj.
Lukaku has a long way to go but I don't think we'll ever be putting him in the best striker of the world category like we have with Ibra/Falcao.
Deulofeu it's still hard to say but the potential seems limitless.
Gotze, Neymar, Balotelli, Harzard, Draxler, Pogba: sky is the limit.
out of these guys I see Balo, Gotze, Pogba doing the best.

Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
Pogba, Hazard is the top tier. Both are already world class players. Both are top 5 players on their positions.
Then you have Draxler, Lukaku, Neymar, Balotelli who are consistent in their teams and potential is incredible.
Then Gotze, Adnan, Deulofeu who are very good talents but have had injuries or struggle to be in top eleven on their teams.
All of them will be great players but Pogba and Hazard on the top tier.

Gotta love Massimo. Gotze in your third tier behind Draxler is just so laughable. Especially when you use injuries and their playing time as your rationale.

Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
Pogba is the best player in the world for his age group, although he's been terribly inconsistent as of late. Balo probably has the most potential but I don't think he will ever realize it. Draxler has a lot of hype but has proved nothing. Lukaku is talented but I'm not sure he has world class potential. I certainly don't ever see him being the best striker in Europe. Hazard is already world class, just a great player.
Also if you're gonna include januzaj then you should also throw in verratti, whose not only a better player but has a lot more potential.

I've actually had the pleasure of seeing all tehse players and here's how I'd rank them:
Tier 1:
Neymar
Hazard
Balo
Tier 2:
Draxler
Pogba
Tier 3:
Lukaku
Januzaj
Deulofeu
Deulofeu (I always spell his name wrong so forgive me) just doesn't get playing time. He looks like the poor man's Mirallas when he comes on, but there's certainly potential there. Januzaj will be very solid, but I don't see him being a star. Pogba/Draxler are absolute monster and I expect the latter to be a superstar.
The top tier is guys who are already stars that I expect to improve. Once Balo starts calming down around age 25, he'll be able to channel the rage. Hazard is already one of the best wingers I've watched in world football and Neymar is Neymar. A pretty girl with pretty moves.

I didn't watch all of them play enough to rank them, but Götze and Hazard are two of my favorite players right now. They are already superstars at their young age and their potential is scary.
...and I should start to watch Pogba play more

lol, I actually totally didn't see Gotze on that list! He's in tier 2, above Draxler.

Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
I think Hazard, Gotze and Pogba are the best of the lot right now. These guys play for stable organizations and already have big roles on their teams, they're pretty much guaranteed to contend for top individual honors as they mature.
Draxler, Neymar and Balotelli play for teams that a) have iffy management b) problematic finances and c) in Neymar's case WAY too many other good players in his position. I think Draxler needs to play under a better coach than Keller who can figure out he should really be using that height, strength and pace on the wing ala Ronaldo. Balo has all the talent and tools, just needs a coach who can help him focus. Neymar IMO needs to make his game more efficient, i.e. focus more on actually doing stuff of consequence than using his fancy feints and dribbles to entertain the crowd, so that remains to be seen for him.
Lukaku is barely behind these guys IMO. He's the youngest here if I'm not mistaken, and he actually had a better scoring season last year than this year. I think he does actually have Drogba-like potential, perhaps not 2010 Drogba (who scored like 40 goals in all competitions), but at least a good 25 goals a season player who contributes a lot in other areas and is monstrous in big games.
Januzaj and Gerard don't belong here IMO. Januzaj could become a solid rotation winger for United, ala Nani in his better years, but don't see more. I haven't seen much of Deulofeu.

Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
No love for Isco, Oscar, Moura, or Veratti in here?
IMHO all four have done a bit more than the players at the bottom of this list, and they've got the potential to one day contend for Ballon D'Or.
1. Hazard/Gotze/Pogba
2. Oscar/Isco/Neymar/Draxler/Gundogan
3. Moura/Veratti/Balotelli/Coutinho
4. The rest. If you're throwing in Deulofeu and Januzaj then I think it's only fair to include Jesé, the first Castilla forward to break into the superstar first team in more than a decade.

Re: What are the ceilings of these young players?
If we're going to start adding players for nominations Griezmann and Dzagoev are two guys who should be put in the mix as well. Both are already excellent and still have world class potential, Dzagoev in particular I'm a huge fan of as he's even more naturally talented than Arshavin, while possessing much better work rate, versatility and drive. Plus he's just got that knack for arriving in the box for set pieces that can not be taught. Kid has already flourished at the 8, the 10, off the wings and even as a false-9. I'd love to see him leave russia for the BuLi, although I doubt CZKA lets him go this summer since he still has a year and a half to go and they can offer him massive wages. I love Isco a lot, and I'd put Dzagoev on par with him already.

Dont know why a big club didnt buy Dzagoev after the Euros in 2012.
Maybe they're scared of the fact that Russian players usually dont perform well outside of their league.

zeman was going to make an offer on him i believe but im pretty sure cska was asking for way too much money. i think the problem is teams that were interested him werent gonna pay 30 mil, and teams that could afford him would rather spend their money elsewhere.
