Top Five Reasons Why the Name "Wizards" Sucks

I'm sorry, when I walk into a party with my "Wizards" jersey on and my hipster non-sports understanding friends mock me about it, launching into a windy "Wizard of Westwood" explanation (isn't that a soap opera anyway?) is not going to help.

And yes, I value my hipster friends more than I value my local sports teams so don't even both going there.

I go to parties wearing a kilt usually. I can't wear a sports jersey because I'd be mocked.

I don't know. Only time I ever wear a jersey is

1) I was playing a sport that required one
2) I was at a sports bar or persons house watching the game

But that's just me. Maybe the Hipsters saw it the same way. That fact it said Wizards just made it that much easier to say something.

1. whenever i search wizards on twitter for latest news..i always get conversations from 12 year old girls about wizards of waverly place ( which i still dont know what its about but can now say the whole title)

2... missing the opportunity for wearing bullets hats and shirts that say burn...get it? bullets burn

3. i hate crittenton...not relevant but with his indictment or soon to be indictment for murder i can see why girl brought a gun too and that j critt probably instigated the whole thing and it was no jokey joke ( not giving up bullets name for him is all)

Pardon me if this was posted elsewhere, but Charles Barkley also thinks the name "Wizards" is stupid. Likes to refer to the team as the Bullets.

Is it now a truism that Wizards is a sucky name for a sports team?

Favority reason why the name is lame . . . it's not politically incorrect. It doesn't offend any traditionally downtrodden ethnicity . . . the only people it offends are fundamentalist Christians who feel that any celebration of "magic" is anti-Christian and that's one of the very few groups that it isn't politically incorrect to offend . . . just ask your hipster friends.
