Sturridge Far More Productive Than Su

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Apr 9, 2014 3:38 pm

Luis Suárez has been the most explosive player in the Premier League this season, but Liverpool teammate Daniel Sturridge may be the more important player to the club.

Sturridge has 20 goals and seven assists, as his 27 goal involvements represents 1.14 goals and assists per 90 minutes played. Suárez has 1.35 goals and assists per 90 minutes.

But Sturridge has been involved in a higher number of important goals. Out of Suárez's 29 goals, only one has been scored when Liverpool were behind.

Sturridge has scored five goals with Liverpool behind. Sturridge has 2.10 goals and assists per 90 minutes when Liverpool is losing compared to just 0.5 for Suárez.
