Heck, what about the guy who actually won the game! Coach Ollie! If Phil Jackson is a guy who knows what to do with talent, what would one call Calipari, a guy with all the talent, but still loses the championship game. well to be fair, won 1 lost a few others.

Also, he's a GREAT recruiter.

Plus, his Kentucky boy's love him, maybe some of them will come to us now?

the **** does being a great recruiter have to do with the NBA. when has that skill EVER translated at any level?

hes without a doubt the best college coach right now, not sure where youre going with that. its one game, anything can happen in one game and the NCAA tournament. however none of the talents he has in college (recruiting, rallying players, letting his players do there thing), translate to the pros.

You are talking like Calipari is some kind of Jerry Sloan to never win anything and staying with one team and one offense for his entire career despite having talent. The fact that he has coached freshman dominated teams to NCAA championships say a lot about him as a coach.

People struggle to win in the NBA in the first season after a big free agency, think about doing all the things like offensive fits, defensive schemes and chemistry in half that time and with immature teenagers.

Well, when byron scott went to the finals, he got beat soundly. When calipari went to a coupla championships, he choked with the better talented team.
