The amazing but sad thing, we have already matched our road wins from last season at two.

TFC is already in for a much better season.

It sometimes feels like TFC hadn't won an actual game in several years, prior to this season.

Three TFC players made MLS team of the week:

D: Bradley Orr (Toronto FC) – Stepping in as an emergency center back, Orr played a tremendous game to help limit what was MLS' most potent attack.

D: Justin Morrow (Toronto FC) – Showed the form he displayed back in 2012 when he was an MLS All-Star. Assisted on the game-clinching goal to boot.

M: Michael Bradley (Toronto FC) – On paper, Toronto FC had no business winning this game, but Bradley set the tempo in the midfield from the opening whistle, and scored a fantastic goal to get the win.

Toronto FC would be keen on signing Stoke's Brek Shea

Toronto FC would welcome the opportunity to take Brek Shea back to the MLS if Stoke City are willing to discuss a sale.

The USA international arrived at the Britannia Stadium in January 2013 with a reputation as a tricky winger with a keen eye for goal.

He has, however, struggled to make an impact in England - making just three substitute appearances for the Potters in the Premier League.

A loan spell at Sky Bet Championship outfit Barnsley was intended to help get important minutes under his belt, but that agreement was cut short in March.

Shea has been able to remain part of his national team set-up despite his lack of competitive action and will be hoping to compete at the World Cup finals this summer.

Uncertainty shrouds his long-term future at club level, though, with the issue set to be addressed in the summer.

Were Stoke to make him available, Toronto general manager Tim Bezbatchenko has revealed that his club would be keen on acquiring the services of the 24-year-old former FC Dallas midfielder.

He told the Toronto Sun: "Yeah, 100 per cent

Wow, it actually could happen.

No idea how they will fit him in under budget. Would be a great help, especially with all the injuries to start the season.

Since Dallas sold Shea they lose his rights.

Toronto are first in Allocation order, so they have first right of refusal.

I'm guessing everyone will be back but Defoe and Henry.

We held our own pretty well for most of the game, especially with so many starters out.

I was really hoping for a tie, but they got one by us late into the second half.

Really hoping most of the regulars will be back for next weekend.

Brek needs to return to the MLS, and claim a starting spot
hes still young, but it looks like wev seen the ceiling of his skills
still one of my favorite usmnt players
but he needs to play, before he can make a step up in performance

Return to Major League Soccer
