The Spo approach. I agree; nothing's going to happen or change so might as well take it and move on.MiamiHeatFan6 wrote:Just take the suspension and move on

Re: Discrimination?
If a mod suspends you, you are basically out of luck. Most are pretty stern and won't change there opinions. I see no issue with that really if you have an opinion stick with it if you want. My issue has and always will be with how some admins will never challenge moderators. Regardless of reasoning (I've seen good to bad) I have never seen an admin overturn a moderators opinion always agreeing even when it makes no sense to the vast public. It's unfortunate but it is what it is. I do have further opinions but I choose to keep them to myself rather than face punishment or to be singled out later. A general board ban is not the end of the world. I myself have one for reasons I won't get into but I see it as a way to talk on other boards. I've become pretty active on the Knicks, Raptors boards and frequent others when I have thoughts or questions.
Good luck with the appeal, I know I've been rejected multiple times and at this point I really don't care.

Re: Discrimination?
Throwing in my 2 cents:
1. Post count doesn't mean ****. And your 2k is low compared to many. There are kids/idiots who post 10-15 times a day on avg.
2. I noticed high post count or post-per-day tends to correlate with idiocy. Again, kids/idiots who have too much time and too little brains. They talk/type more than they read, so they don't know ****, but they talk about everything as if they were experts.
3. That tsherkin dude is biased anti-Miami. You're better off ignoring the GB completely. A Heat fan can't do 10% of the stuff Bulls/Knicks/Lakers fans get away with. I suppose the orders from above are to keep the masses happy, and the masses hate Lebron/the Heat. If they were to suspend/ban other fans for what Heat fans are banned, 60% of the board would be banned in 1 week. And that'd be quite a loss of revenue.
4. I tried ignoring some mods, because some of them are nothing more than fanbois and they keep spewing the most idiotic ****. Too bad you're not allowed to put them on ignore. As for reporting their posts ..... who the **** do you think you are ? Don't you realize they are MODS on an internet forum ? That automatically makes them better people than you or me. At least as far as they are concerned. Talk about a power trip for the lowest amount of power possible. Well, not surprising considering most mod-wannabes are sad pathetic beings that crave that little bit of power because that's all they got in their sad miserable lives. Not all, some are really nice guys, but most ....
5. I reported a few posts for baiting/trolling. Don't remember which ones, but they were obvious. I checked the "I want to be informed" checkbox. Guess what ? I never got any feedback. I am pretty sure nothing happened to those posters. Again, for stuff you or any other Heat fan would be insta-banned.
I said I'd throw in my 2 cents, but ended up throwing 5 cents. You can keep the change.

What's higher up than an administrator tho?
I believe with my post total slowly reaching 2000 I have gained some clout when it comes to these kinds of situations.
