Why do you want the Clippers to win?

Wouldn't it give the Spurs (along with a Spurs win over Dallas) the edge so they could rest their starters against us?

To be honest Spurs may play us in the first round and I think they would be scared to play us in a series because of how streaky we can be. They wouldn't bench their starters against us because they won't want us in the playoffs. Honestly I don't think any team wants us in the playoffs. I think the only team that could legit beat us in less than 6 games in the West right now is the Clippers.

I've been a Suns fan since they signed Nash in 04'. I have a Bucks logo because I am from Milwaukee and have been in contact with their Director of Basketball Analytics, Michael Clutterbuck in hopes to land an intern job with the team next year so I can sit behind the bench of an NBA team all year and nerd out with all the other statistics graduates with expertise in Regression Analysis, Data Shaping, Distributional Statistics, and STATA. PHX would actually be my ideal team because it's cold as hell in WI. I've been reading and watching you guys post on this site for years and finally joined the action the other day. Just trying to stick up for me and my fellow "noobs" or "ballboys". Just because we're not RealGm's, GM's, or head coaches doesn't always mean we don't know what we're talking about... though sometimes, it means precisely that. I'll change my logo to the Suns too, to make you happy DRK/mom.

Like it or not, there is a definite hierarchy or at least some form of respect that post number commands. And if you think you are clever enough to offer a retort to that with a low post count, then you are not clever enough recognize that post count does matter (in other words, what I just told you). But hey, that's just how it is on the internet. I don't like it. You don't like it...

But it's forum culture and you gotta deal with it. Or at least be enough of an influence to change it.

If you are from Milwaukee, why are you not a Packers fan?

Post count may matter to some people, but not really to me. There are plenty of people with a lot of posts that are clueless and some of the better posters don't have many posts.

I kind of liked the Packers growing up, but I really liked Peter Warrick growing up and made a transition. I kind of like having my own team anyway. People from WI are super fairweather fans to me. Nobody really cheers for the Bucks or Brewers unless they're making a playoff run. Everybody loves the Packers because they are almost always good. Yet those same Packer fans come out of the wood work when the Bucks or Brewers are good and start pretending they are lifetime fans. I didn't really want to be seen like that. Plus I really liked the color orange growing up and picked the Bengals when I was around 10. I picked the Suns because Steve Nash is my favorite athlete of all time. And the Suns are orange. And I want to move to AZ someday.

I understand that and it's fair for the most part, but when a newcomer makes a post and the rebuttal from the "higher up" says something like "get out of here noob", or "these ballboys are dumb", and that's all it says... that's pretty petty and childish. If these guys are so "respected", maybe they should tell these new guys why their post was so off-base instead of just insulting them. Everyone was a "ballboy" at some point. I just think these "RealGM's" should offer some kind of information to as why they think these newcomers are being stupid. Otherwise they are the ones looking like newcomers by just using insults. IMO anyway. I'm over it. I'm sure it won't change. Maybe I'll just go to some hockey forum and post the letter a 5,000 times so people "respect" my opinion... :banghead:

But if they beat Dallas, and rest their starters against us, they have a good chance of pushing us past Dallas, while pushing us on OKC. What they won't want is another matchup with Memphis, which could easily happen if they beat us.

We've had an influx of newbies, that have been either banned/waived doofs, or plain trolls in the recent past, so many of us go on attack mode to weed them out. Moreover, one recently just said we should lose on purpose so Memphis could get into the playoffs, which could be what set off the "ball boy" comment.

I've been pretty harsh on ball boys, so I'm definitely guilty of pulling the welcome mat from under one's feet, but usually they earned it. Keep posting, things even out here.

Good thing San Antonio beat Dallas. I hate saying that, since I actually like Dallas and we all know our feelings toward the Spurs.

Just read on Rotoworld that Dragic is questionable for tomorrow though. Ugh. I knew it. I knew he hurt his ankle. I think he ends up playing though---Dragic is a **** warrior.

He will play, too much on the line, and after his comment about guys not playing like they want to make the playoffs.

Denver also beat GS, so these last few games will be interesting.

Yeah but since it's a b2b it's a risk to play him if he's really hurt
If he had to sit in one of them it would definitely be tomorrow

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

You can limit his minutes, and/or sit him if he feels pain. This late in the season with the playoffs on the line, I seriously doubt Goran will miss the game unless he lost a limb. At this point knowing Goran's personality and drive, I doubt the coaching staff will be able to keep him off the floor.
