Who is sitting?
Pasting my post from another thread cause I think it is important.
"I don't like prematurely "mass resting" the starters.
A. It is very dangerous. Team may well get out of sync, & lose momentum. This negative may potentially outweigh the benefits of extra rest for the starters & extra tune-up for the bench.
B. Also, the magic number remains 1 to finish ahead of the Cats & 2 to finish ahead of the Wiz. Theoretically (although very unlikely), the team could drop to a lower seed. IMO, resting 2, 3, 4 or 5 starters at a time should begin ONLY after the 5 seed is TOTALLY guaranteed.
C. A final record of 47-35 looks much better than a final record of 43-39, 44-38, 45-37 or 46-36.
D. Magic number for Hawks to eliminate the KnUcks is 2. If the Hawks do not win 1/2 this weekend & the KnUcks do not lose 1/2 this weekend thereby eliminating them - then the Nets will have the distinct pleasure of annihilating & thereby eliminating the KnUcks on 4/22 at Barclays using a full line-up."

Man, the playoffs can't come here soon enough. This is literally the worst week to watch basketball. I'll probably still watch it though. It beats watching Sabathias fat ass get knocked out of the game in the third inning.

I was at the Yanks-Sox game last night. Pretty sweet.

What section?
201, Row 12.
There was a lot of conflict in Sections 202 and 203.
Some Red Sox fans were getting a little too rowdy lol.
And there was a guy sitting two rows behind me with Boston gear on sleeping for like an inning or two. Everyone around him cleared out for a few minutes so that there was like a 4ft radius of empty space around him. People started taking pictures of him because it was so funny seeing a sleeping Red Sox fan sleeping in Yankee Stadium while the Boston was getting creamed.
I didn't know about the substance on Pineda's hand until I got home and turned on ESPN.

Nice.
I went to the game on Tuesday, came out 10 pounds heavier and saw fans run onto the field. Fun day despite the yankees getting destroyed 14-5.
I'd go to more games, but the prices are too ridiculous. I'm glad they're having problems selling seats, that way they reduce prices.

Go Hawks!
a hawk win + knick loss officially eliminates them from the playoffs.

Personally I'd rather have us win and be able to destroy the Knick's hopes ourselves
Also if the Knicks win tonight, it would be a godsend, it would move the Bulls up and give us a first round against the Raps which would be much better for us

Yea I'm rooting for a Knicks and Nets wins despite what I said on the previous thread. I prefer the 4/5 matchup with the Raptors. The Knicks will lose to the bulls and Hawks will beat the Bucks. That's all that needs to happen and it will

Because we just lost in Orlando. They should blow out Atlanta with ease anyhow.

So the only one sitting is Livingston?
I guess they really want to keep that home winning streak alive.

Re: GT: Hawks vs Nets - Fri, 4/11/14 7:30pm My9
Really want the Knicks to win tonight.
The Knicks beating the Raptors, and the Pacers beating the Heat is my ideal scenario. Indiana basically locks in as the #1 seed (1.5 game lead with 2-3 games left, and Indiana owns the tiebreak), and the Raptors drop to the #4 seed. Meaning, we'd get Toronto in the 1st round, and if we manage to beat them, we'd get Indiana instead of Miami in the 2nd round.
I'm not going to root for my team to lose, but I'll just say it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if we did drop this one tonight, while the above situation plays out.
