I agree 100% one love, if we don't try to keep players that not only want to be lakers and have decent talent, who do we sign exactly? Every team needs more players than just two max contracts and d-league trash filling out the rest of the roster to compete.

Myersia - I never answered your question, sorry. I don't pretend to know more about nba finances than the people who do it every day for a living, but we gave luke walton and vlad like 5 million a year, I think swaggy p could at least make more than the 1.2 million he took to play for our **** ass team this year

I definitely agree that he is worth more. I just would prefer not to spend more than say 3-4 million a year on him. I know that's cheap but I care more about our cap than being loyal to Swaggy. I am sure he will get signed for more by someone else.

Kobe comes off in 2 years... i do think we need to solidify guys who want to be here and make up a good supporting cast. We just can't over spend for for that many clubs will if they feel like they are close to a chip. But- stars will not come if it's a crap team, we need a foundation of players who are paid fairly.
