Is there a general thought amongst the board, or is it still somewhat torn?

Bosh is a 12-15 Million type player that will get the MAX if he gets to the FA market.

In Miami, we use him to fit our system which lowers his value to the rest of the league. Bosh has one of the best jumpers in the NBA and one of the best TEAM defensive bigs in the league. The issue is that we ask him to only due what fits our system. In Chicago he would be PERFECT next to Noah and running with Rose. I would fear Bosh alot more off the HEAT than teams do with Bosh on the HEAT.

Bosh is playing #3 option. This system is designed around lebron.

My biggest issue with bosh is his effort level. BUT, he has come through big for us in the past, especially during the playoffs.

He is max. Regardless of what his stats say you aren't going to get better for a third option IMO. Best PF in the league if you built the right team around him too. I do admit he is in a bit of a drought right now though.

I don't understand this part.

In Miami, we use him to fit our system which lowers his value to the rest of the league.

Sure, he plays a certain way that helps you guys, but above, you say that he is a 12-15 million player but could get the max on the market, but in this quote, it seems as if you're saying the opposite. Unless i've misinterpreted?

Bosh has one of the best jumpers in the NBA and one of the best TEAM defensive bigs in the league.

If he does all that, he is a max player.

offensively he's doesent look to be aggressive when Lebron sits and he's in the game by hisself he's playing off norris cole ray Allen when he should have the ball in his hands all he does now basically is a camp out at the 3 pt line

It's almost like he will be the third option no matter who you play him with

Like a

Bosh
Lewis
Jones
Chalmers
Cole

and bosh would be the third option behind chalmers and cole...

In our system he is a 12-15 million dollar player(Spo limits him as a player). A team like Chicago will offer him MAX once he gets to the FA market for the way they will use him. In Chi-Town he would be an amazing piece to a title run. Bosh does have his up's and down's but overall he does everything good. I feel bad for Bosh in this "System".

Bosh IS a max player to Miami (we paid him that after all) and to the rest of the league. He does a great job opening the floor for LeBron and Wade. He fits the system designed around the strengths of the Big 3.

Your system exists because Bosh is versatile enough, and professional enough, for it to exist.

The system is built around Lebron and his natural skill set, but in order for it to work, Bosh playing the 5 and stretching the floor, and in doing so, playing out of position, he is worth the max to the Heat for that.

Maybe his production in terms of raw numbers don't stand up as your typical max guy, but you will be hard pressed to find a 3rd option who allows the Heat to do what they do whilst being so damn efficient.

If Bosh was playing the 4, and couldn't move to the 3, do we see the Lebron we've seen during your championship run, given he has to primarily play the 3?

If Bosh can only play the 4, how do Lebron, Allen & Wade share the floor?

If Bosh can only play the 4, how do the Heat run up and down the floor and have the leagues most efficient offense, which kills teams on transition if they're employing your traditional center playing next to Bosh?

Bosh makes your system possible. Lebron makes it work.

I would expect Bosh to have an increased role next season as Wade ages and his injuries become a concern. Couple this with my above comments, i don't see how he is not worth the max for the Heat, or anyone else.

google "Not Like A Bosh"

http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=10764106

Tom Haberstroh ESPN really good video of what Bosh does and how his game has changed and how he helps us. Bosh is a beast and ttruly sacrifices for this team.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington
