He's my number 1 target this offseason for my t wolves. I'm hoping we trade love and rebuild it and he could have some success with Rubio. The ironic part is if we keep Love he won't play because we'll be chasing the playoffs but Love is about the perfect player for his current game in leaking out and receiving outlets and Rubio would get him a lot of transition looks also.

I would love to see Boston try and make him a running partner with Rondo

i doubt he'll deserve many minutes at all his rookie yr. he should treat his rookie yr as a redshirt yr, sitting back, observing, working on his body and learning the game.
i think the grizz would be a good situation to do that since c.lee isn't signed long term. they got a bunch of other vets he could learn from. only problem could be tony allen who isn't the greatest off-court influence.

I've really like the idea of him in Philly.

MCW-LaVine-Wiggins-Young-Noel

That is a heck-of-a fast line up, little small underneath, until Noel bulks up, but they could get out and run like no one else. Not sure that I'd want to take LaVine at 10 though.

If it was possible, I'd like the Bulls to grab LaVine. Thibs could mold him into anything, and with LaVine's quickness, Thibs would make him a good defender. Also wouldn't hurt to have more offense for the Bulls.

You don't want him on your Bulls?

i wouldn't mind him as a long-term project, but i don't think he fits with the bulls' timeline. hopefully rose will at least be 80% of what he was. if he is, then they are contenders who need more ready to contribute players. i wouldn't expect much from lavine for at least 2 years.

IMO, if the Magic trade away AA and have Oladipo running point, LaVine would be getting significant minutes at the SG.

If Philly was to get LaVine and not draft Exum, Smart, or maybe Wiggins (if Wiggins plays SG), LaVine would get a bunch of minutes there as well.

These are probably the best 2 teams for him to land.

lavine came off the bench at ucla, and alford sat him and bryce BOTH when it came to the march dance. so this guy who never contributed to a game win during the whole season even though playing 25mpg is going to get minutes in the L?? :D

well, like i said before, the nba is so sad, such a development would be damning evidence that the nba is truly going downhill.

yeah i don't think Zach should be starting anywhere in the league and should prolly sit for a while at first. See what the Summer league brings out in him if he really was being "held back"

I'd like to see LaVine in Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago or Phoenix.

LaVine projects as a better pro than Archie Goodwin in Phoenix?

yes because he can actually shoot. they're similar in their measurements and Lavine is probably the better athlete..which is saying something since Goodwin is a great athlete.

nope.

im not calling for the Suns to take Lavine, since they're loaded at the guard spot, im just saying Lavine projects as a better prospect.

It is a good spot, Phoenix have Dragic and Bledsoe, but the rest of their Guard depth could be compromise in 2 years, I don't think I will pay a lot for Green and he will be looking for money at this rate in 2015.
Archie could pan out, or not, LaVine fits their style and he will have time to develop under good coaching and against good competition.
Plus, Dragic will be a FA in 2015, if he ask for a lot of money and they trust what they have in LaVine, maybe they decide to make a trade, seems unlikely now, but you never knwo.

you know what, you're probably right. some guys arent on your roster within a few years, so you got a point.

aslong as they dont reach for him cool. if he's the best player on the board, go get him. i love his ceiling.

This kid has mega bust written all over him IMO. How do you enter the draft when you aren't even good enough to start in college yet?
