this Demarcus Cousins situation makes me hope that the league will rig it for the Suns to get in. For those of you who aren't aware, Cousins picked up his 16th tech of the season last game, and faces a suspension for the final game of the season against the Suns. The league could have rescinded it if it wanted, but chose not to. I wonder if this is Silver trying to boost playoff TV ratings by helping the feel-good story of the year get into the playoffs. He would also have the power to get the refs into it as well if he so chooses. Her's to hoping!

While it's not officially over; the Suns will likely have the best record by far of teams to miss the playoffs. Not that this hasn't happened before. 3 of the 5 times an NBA team won 46 or more games and missed the playoffs it was the Suns. They can make it 4 for 6 if they miss them this season.

I've never agreed with the premise that since the conferences don't play balanced schedules the seeding should be separated by conference. The Suns/Grizzlies have won more games than most of the Eastern Conference teams and they have done it playing a more difficult schedule. The NBA should allow the top 16 teams into the playoffs.

It has been a tougher year than usual to be an AZ sports fan. The Cardinals missing the playoffs at 10-6, likely the Suns and even the Coyotes are the last team out in the West. Granted they aren't really that good.

All this being said I'll be at the game and Go Suns!

I was just looking at Basketball Reference yesterday and realizing that we will finish with 5-7 more wins than the Suns team that went to the finals in 76 and lost to Boston in 6.

It's been a great season regardless of the outcome. Nobody saw PHX being here. We found a great coach and some very talented young players. Next season shows a lot of promise. We have nice assets and a lot of young talent. They are an enticing team, so hopefully they can lure a nice FA this offseason. As far as most likely missing the playoffs, they have no one to blame but themselves... They lead LAC by 17 in the 3rd, SA by 21(early I know), and the Mavs by 15 around half time. I don't know if it was inexperience, but they buckled in most of those 2nd halves. They needed to keep their foot on the gas. Anyway, the future is very bright. I'm still a little torn on what I want them to do with Bledsoe. I imagine at least 1, if not 2 or 3 teams will be throwing a max contract at him. Fun season

This. Although it hurts to miss the Playoffs, hopefully the heartbreak of this season can only fuel our guys even more, and they can use it to get better prepped for next season.

By the way, I would also like to take this time to apologise for the remark I made about you in the other thread. I thought you were a Bucks fan trolling, as we've had alot of other trolls around here lately, and got mixed up. My mistake. No hard feelings?

No hard feelings at all. I respect you defending the Phoenix forums from trollers ha. As far as the game that is taking place right now... too bad our offense hasn't come to play. Looks like MIN is taking it to GS (lot of game left), which means Dallas still would have the 6seed to play for (if they wanted it).
