How about Di Natale? Do you think Prandelli will call him up?
I dont think we will have a problem in the striker position. We have Osvaldo, Cassano, Balotelli. Insigne and immobile are having awesome year also. Cerci and Destro are great, too.
I really think that we can win this. Our defense and offense looks perfect.
Glad to have you back on our side, brother
Prandelli has said, regarding Di Natale, Totti, and Toni (who probably never had a chance), that they will be called only if there are injury problems to the other guys. Di Natale never shined for the national team like he has for club, I don't think he is needed.
I agree that we are looking great. Everyone is sleeping on us, as usual, and this works in our favor. The defense looks spectacular but wing backs are still my only concern. Abate and Maggio have been the right backs for a while, but they aren't good enough to be starters. Ideally, IMO, we'll have Criscito on the left and De Sciglio on the right. The center backs are set with Chiellini, Barzagli, and Bonucci, and newcomer Paletta who is damn good...I'm excited to see him featured in the squad.
The midfield is so legit that Verratti probably won't even make the team. Pirlo, De Rossi, Marchisio, Thiago Motta, Giaccherini, Diamanti, Montolivo, Candreva
As for the attacking players: Balotelli, Insigne, and Cerci seem like locks. Then take your pick between Destro, Immobile, and Osvaldo...probably two of the three make it.
Also, the current rumor is that Cassano will only go if Rossi is not fit enough. I say take them both.
