Kobe Cleared For Intense Training

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/10792304/kobe-bryant-los-angeles-lakers-begin-intense-training-program-next-week

Kobe Bryant has been cleared to resume running and shooting and will begin an intense, six-month training program next week upon his return from a short family trip to Europe, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.

Bryant has been ramping up his activity level in recent weeks as he continues to recover from a fracture in his left knee suffered during the Lakers' victory Dec. 17 at Memphis, just six games into his return from a ruptured Achilles.

While he is in Europe, Bryant will visit the clinic in Germany where he had the platelet-rich plasma treatment known as Orthokineon on his knee, according to a source.

Bryant is due back in Los Angeles this weekend and will begin intense training designed to have him fully recovered by the start of training camp in October, according to sources.

People continue to doubt and knock you Bean. Just use it to as poster board material to inspire you to do the unthinkable like you've always done. Right before the injury he started to show signs of shaking off the rust a bit there. The 2015 season cant get here fast enough, but at the very least this offseason should be interesting.

I mean I hope he comes back strong... But the timing pisses me off, and It's all rhetoric until it translates into something on the court... So until then...

The rest time was the best thing for Kobe. I sick and damn tired of hearing " oh he's gonna be 37", " he's coming off this injury that injury". Those comments would hold weight if Kobe was still trying to be a high fly act, but hell he hasn't been that in like the last 3 seasons anyway. Kobe will adapt his game like all great perpetrators do.

Do people think a lion or cheetah or a tiger just stops hunting because he gets old in the jungle ? No it doesn't.

Now at one point and time they was able to use their speed and agility and strength to maul and capture it's prey. And when those traits start to fade they adapt, they rely on experience and they become more deliberate in how they attack.

But the bottom line is they adapt....people need to absorb what I'm saying. Kobe will be alright.

D'antoni over using him resulted in a torn Achilles.

That shouldn't be an issue next season.

 You think it was D'Antoni's choice for Kobe to play heavy minutes? MDA had no say in the matter. Kobe decided on his own when he'd enter a game, sit on the bench, etc.

Love Kobe like we all do, but for now this is just hot air to me. Glad he will be back training at a rate that is needed, but the comments and twitter nonsense are growing old. This will be a fascinating offseason and next year.

I like to think your masturbating is a good luck charm though, like old socks or unwashed jerseys

He'll never be elite again, Only he doesn't see it

Father time is undefeated. It's nice to see there are some Lakers fans here that are level headed. Unfortunately, he's run everyone out of town and I predict they'll suck until they kick him out, cause he'd never let anyone else grow into the man as long as he's around. that's his big problem and of course the lakers fan bases problem.

Kobe giveth and Kobe taketh away
