Listening to Woodsons post game, I think he got caught up in the politics of kissing Melos ass this year and it affected his ability to coach Melo and the team.

We made a furious run that gave everyone hope, only to look like we'd fall short in the end. But, led by JR (30/4) guys dug in, made plays, and turned in our biggest comeback of the season to cap it all off.

It was good to see some fortitude in a game that ultimately meant nothing to us. The young guys showed some heart, and Cole straight killed it (13/16/5). This is also a glimpse of what we might look like next season, so it was interesting in that regard.

Farewell 2013/14 Season.

I so glad that this season is finally over. I can't wait to see the changes that Phil has in store for this team.

Only watched parts of the past few games, but here's my final thoughts on the young fellas:

Timmy - surpassed everyone's expectations and had a great year. Lots to like offensively. Doesn't need the ball to drop 20 on you real quick. Good finisher and runs the break like a leapard. Defensively, passing, rebounding, and basically everywhere other than scoring he is bad and a straight liability at times. If he doesn't improve in those areas he's lookin like a nice bench scorer at worst though, so nice pick Knicks.

Shump - Shows up once every 3 weeks. Not much to say on him other than I'm not a fan. Maybe Phil finds a role for Shump but he's not a triangle PG. He played awful this year and you can find good perimeter defenders in the D League that don't do anything else. Shump and Timmy are essentially opposites in that regard.

Cole - Goofy, uncoordinated, flabby, and missing a tooth but the guy knows how to play. Maybe he has finally found a home here. He does what you want a center to do and I'd even be cool with him starting if Tyson gets dealt. Doesn't make many mistakes.

Tyler - His first few weeks playing this year he was great, but has really fallen off since. It's telling that he didn't even finish the game tonight. Has all the tools you want along with some skills, but the BBIQ isn't there. Being just 22 I still think he's a worthy project to keep, but I wouldn't really care if he's let go. Kind of reminds me of Anthony Randolph like that.

Toure - I actually think he's better than Shump. He's a good defender who has hit some shots and made some solid moves with the ball, but he's a combo/tweener. Could perhaps be a triangle PG but he's probably not an NBA player.

Maybe

But his record is too good and the players haven't quit on him contrary to what we would like to believe.
The whole season was frustrating.

The guy even after this season has a winning record as a Knick coach.

This season sucked and next season will be worse.

Just hope we trade Chandler for some decent pick or young player.

The tank will be strong next season.

Do you still think the Nets weren't tanking yesterday after losing by damn near 30 today to the Cavs?
