I expect a close series, low scoring games.

Nets likely will want to slow down the pace. Raps can play at that pace and will have a huge rebounding edge over the Nets. Expect a physical series too.

If the Raptors can figure out how to push the pace quicker while remaining strong defensively though, then I don't think this series will be close.

Raps in 6 would be my prediction.

I seriously need to ask just one question...

By what right does the wolf judge the lion?

This is going to be the only eastern 1st round playoff series that will feel like a 2nd round series.

The Sea of Red will be a sight to see.

At least the Nets don't have a red alternate jersey any more

You are mistaken. It's not only Vasquez. Tyler Hansbrough, John Salmons, Chuck Hayes, Kyle Lowry, Nando de Colo, Amir Johnson, Landry Fields and Steve Novak have all appeared in the playoffs before as well.

Woah dont forget about Julyan Stone and his total of 18 minutes over 2 years and his staggering total of 4 points

Nothing was funnier than RJ's post Game 1 interview thanking the Raptors fans for supporting the Nets.

Unless Kidd knows the future (which I assume he doesn't or he would've seen that telephone pole coming), we'll find out soon enough.

I don't really have an issue with the Nets doing it. I honestly have no bad feelings towards the Nets on it.

I do think that teams that tend to do this, it actually ends up backfiring on them. A team going in to the playoffs should have the mentality to try and win every game and then do the same in the playoffs. They should have the mentality we'll take on anyone and just do our best to finish highest.

I actually think Miami may regret their decision to drop back to the other bracket as well. They've now positioned themselves for a possibly easy first round matchup, but tougher second round matchup with either Brooklyn/Toronto and then if they face Indiana in ECF they won't have home court anymore and then if they make it to the Finals they may not have home court as well.

Hypothetically if the NBA was all about trying to generate as much revenue as possible and wanted to push the Nets forward because Nets/Heat would mean great tv ratings; Wouldn't they also have ensured that the Knicks make it in? The Knicks in the playoffs instead of the Hawks would've made great financial sense for the league.
So maybe just maybe you Raptors shouldn't complain about officiating for a series that hasn't started yet just because you think the league wants Nets/Heat.

The white is suited for Canada too.

Probably gonna be snowing up here even for the playoffs.

The Atlantic is arguable the worst division in basketball

fair enough, but that doesnt change the rules

this is still semi unfair, but its a lot better than it used to be with division winners being guaranteed top 3 seeds.

think the bulls are fine just where they landed aha , avoid the nets/heat and get pacers in the second round

Is there a media statement that we are wearing white? I know the campaign #wethenorth but does that really translate to only white?
