They still finished 8th. Unless someone below them moves up in drawing, they will keep their pick. I don't see a big difference in talent between 7 and 8 either. After the top 3-4, the next 5-10 are pretty even to me. Would've been nice to get 7th though.

Watch out for Cleveland though at 9. If they send that Gilbert kid again, forget about it, we're doomed. He will definitely be moving up into the top 3 and bumping us to 9.

i see a difference, if this team doesnt at least have a chance to draft Marcus Smart then they should trade down

I don't see anything special about Smart. His lack of shooting doesn't fit this team anyways. Personally I think this draft is overrated. Aside from Wiggins, Embid, Randle, and maybe Vonleh, I haven't really seen anyone else that intrigues me. I think Parker is going to have issues in the NBA as a tweener and could see him end up being the next Derrick Williams.

I'm open to trading down, but I'd rather look to trade it for an estblished vet first though, if they choose that route.

Aside from Wiggins, Embid, Randle, and maybe Vonleh, I haven't really seen anyone else that intrigues me. I think Parker is going to have issues in the NBA as a tweener and could see him end up being the next Derrick Williams.

I'm open to trading down, but I'd rather look to trade it for an estblished vet first though, if they choose that route.

You love Josh Smith yet you see nothing special about Marcus Smart.

Smarts inability to shoot makes him a bad fit for this team yet you did back flips on the Josh Smith signing & have backed it to almost a delusional level ever since.

& you just compared Jabari Parker who is a SF with outstanding size & length for a SF, who can shoot btw to Derrick Williams.

Except, he is actually a really good shooter.

His other physical attributes as well as his killer instinct & motor which is off the charts more than make up for lack of athleticism. & he can still get up just fine.
