I knew it all along, but didn't have the numbers to prove it. Thanks, VVV.

Leaving?! Pretty sure the courts won't allow him within 100ft of her.

Hmm. So you're saying we should get her tickets behind the Nets bench. You are a genius, my friend!

We can call it PBJ's (and friends) Raptors Breakdown - think about it!

I like this idea!

I thought about doing one, but im too busy with work, and lazy outside it. I like the idea of just posting when I want here, to a passionate fanbase. You want a talented guy? Lock Undefeated in a room, and force him to watch game tape and break it down, feed him occasionally. Then watch the millions come in.

Just so that people don't think we're copying this if we do in fact do it I have been in contact with several other posters over the past few weeks regarding the creation of an NBA site. Undefeated is definitely a poster on our radar as well and there are plenty of others out there that we haven't talked to yet. I wanted to see what kind of web design people were interested first. Just early discussion at this point but if we do it the point would be analytics, humor, visual podcasts, and more. We'd lean mostly toward the Raptors but we'd also look league-wide.

As I said... still in the early stages and we're all busy adults with actual careers so who knows if it will actually happen or not but there are discussions. We'll contact more people and possibly recruit if we think we can proceed and take it to the next level.

Wow. Just incredible. By the time I digest all that, the Raps will be 2-0 up on the Heat in round 2.

My 2cents.

I see thread and think what balls to have a vanity thread title when we have a stickied thread.

Then curious because its VVV I open thread.

I started reading and am totally blown away by the analysis.

Now this work is too good to be hoarded by us here .

Raptors republic could host your analysis in an article there it would be much more readable IMO.

Well done good man!

I don't even know where to start with it! But it's fantastic the breakdown.

Let's hope the refs call it clean, swallow their whistle when it comes to the "vet" factor and let us enjoy the series. It's going to be good and damn close.

I agree! It would get a lot of exposure and put it in a reader friendly mode instead of on the forum!

Thanks, FWIW I hate the vanity title too, but I didnt know what to call it. While I appreciate all the blogs out there, and soon to be ones, id rather just give the straight crack to you all here. Now if you can forward these kind words to the Raptors and have them hire me to look at statistics all day (specifically the SportsVu stuff we dont have access too), I promise ill do alot more for you guys hah.

VVV, great post.

I know none of us should be asking you for any favours, but throughout the series can you post in this thread with updates of where certain pre-series statistics are proving to be prescient and other relevant insights? This is sort of information overload right now but this thread would be legendary with snippets of your on going commentary.

3V...I appreciate the work that went into this analysis! I'm hopeful these stats counter the refs, the physical grind of the playoffs and the lack of playoff experience.

Great work, fantastic post. Now, how do you factor in the intangibles like playoff experience which seems to be why most experts are picking against us?
