Clint Frazier, 19, went 1-for-5 in his debut with Class-A Lake County on Thursday.
"I felt great," he said. "Whether I was 1-for-5 or 5-for-5, I went out and had fun."
Frazier is coming off a hamstring injury. He entered the season rated as one of Cleveland's top prospects. He was a high school senior just last year.
"I was anxious, but I wasn't nervous," he said. "I was just ready to get back on the field."
The Indians drafted Frazier fifth overall in 2013.
