Jeff Franceour's AAA team pranked him by convincing him that a teammate was deaf.

I've watched it three times now in the last few days. I crack up like an idiot each time.

That has to be one of the funnier things I've ever seen.

Giancarlo Stanton hit a walk off grand slam last night, already has 26 RBI on the season

On an unrelated note: lol

On a scale of 1 - 10, how stupid is Michael Pineda? It's got to be a 15.

I don't think he should be suspended for having pine tar on his hand. I think he should be suspended for being a moron.

Thats more or less what the Red Sox were saying i think. Basically they told him you got to hide it better, it was quite interesting because the studio guys seemed to have the same reaction about the story.

10 games for Pineda. Cue people not understanding that is basically a 2 game suspension and whining.

I don't understand why mlb don't just suspend pitchers for starts instead of games.

Because there would be ways around that. (not conventional, and it'd be pretty weird but it could be done)

Plus what if its not a starter? Or the guy is just a spot starter? Too many complications, leaving it at games is fine.

The Indians made the playoffs last year. These are their attendance numbers outside of opening day.

14,153
13,104
9,029
9,930
16,335
15,188
11,716
10,789
8,848
9,311
10,440

That's an average of 11,713. That's probably around the average of what we got for the Royals exhibition games at Miller Park. Yes I know we have a roof. That is still pathetic though.

This website seems pretty cool

http://pitchergifs.com/

Each pitcher has his own page too that shows what pitches he throws, a clip of him throwing it and the stats on it, stats currently show last years numbers though.

The Braves just got a 3 (option for 4) year extension with Chris Johnson proving that lucky batting average streaks still can get **** players a lot of money.

Just perusing some WAR's reading some MVP talk, and wanted to mention that I'm so **** sick of the Rockies. How do some people still not recognize how much of an advantage they have playing in Denver? A guy like Blackmon has a career .643 OPS on the road (.697 this year) and he's a star? :nonono:

Maybe it's time to finally block bspn.

This made me think of two things

1. Just how shortsighted people in Minnesota were for not paying the extra cash to put a roof on their new ballpark. Once the shine soon wears off of attending games in a new park, Twins fans will be stuck for decades attending or not attending a lot of games in April/May under terrible weather conditions which a roof would have fixed.

2. I honestly think baseball fans in Milwaukee are near the top in all of baseball. Last year we finished higher in attendance than Pittsburgh, Oakland, Tampa, Cleveland, and basically tied with Cincinnati who all made the playoffs, while the Brewers were pretty much buried by the end of May. On top of that, i'd guess the Brewers attendance per capita over the last five years or so has to be near or at the top in all of baseball.
