Hi All,

I am not sure if any other GB mod has stopped by or not, but to continue to extend the olive branch and make things right, I just wanted to drop a note about the GB, the playoffs and the Heat.

No matter what happens, win or lose, the Heat will be on the end of some nonsense posts.

As were all aware, the GB rules are harsh, and they need to be to cut out a lot of in tolerate baiting that ruins discussions.

If you see anything untoward, please hit the report button. If you feel that it's enough, I am more than ok for anyone to PM me directly about an issue that needs resolving.

Don't respond to any trolling directly. It is not worth get punished over, and we do warn the person who reacts, just as we do the initiator.

So, given its playoff time, tempers will flare and heat of the moment things will occur. Try to avoid them, and let me know if I can assist.

My message goes out to all, but in particular several key members of the Heat board who represent the Heat board well on the GB (you know who you are because we converse in the MVP thread). I don't want to see you guys get baited into anything, because the GB needs some Heat representation.

I'll post this in a few threads to get the message out, but lease remember, trolls will be out in force in the playoffs, and given that Miami is the team everyone is chasing, Heat trolling is to be expected. Try to avoid it.

I don't want to make this thread about the GB, but simply an announcement that were out there to help and will do our best.

It's not really interesting, didn't people say a team that was last in the league in rebounding has never won a championship. Well we won it all twice while being last in rebounding a much more important stat than the one Marc Stein pointed out.

It's not really interesting, didn't people say a team that was last in the league in rebounding has never won a championship. Well we won it all twice while being last in rebounding a much more important stat than the one Marc Stein pointed out.

I've always hated that stat they put out about rebounding. Don't the heat have one of the highest fg percentages of all time? There aren't many rebounds if you're making shots.

Yeah, I'd love to see a rebounding stat which takes fg% into equation. Are we near the bottom at that too?

There aren't many offensive rebounds if you're making shots. It's the other side that we struggle with. Opponent OREB and our own DREB can't be good at all.

The Heat have been good defensive rebounders in the playoffs so far. They weren't a poor DREB team during the regular season either. Every time we get an offensive rebound though, my heart jumps.
