Nice a time lapse gif on basically the crowd reaction throughout the whole game from beginning to end.

Yeah, because they Nets played great themselves. They hit 4-24 3pters. That's not going to happen.

Well our wing play was earth shatteringly bad which hopefully won't happen again

Ahahahaha! Keep complaining... Deep inside you guys know why there was no foul call. Nets D is the BEAST BABY!!

Refs were probably to busy counting in their heads.

Get some shot clocks before you complain about the refs in the 4th.

Neat retort.

WTF Toronto fans? You go from trash talking the hell out of us leading up to this game, to giving up all hope after a game 1 loss?

I'd love to believe it's over...but it's game 1.

But game 2 is an absolute must-win for Toronto.

Paul Pierce is dirty...DD and Paul Pierce struggled shooting most of the game but in the end, DeRozen deferred to the big moment and Pierce stayed focused and thrived. THAT is where the experience comes in.

PS...Nets fans have experienced being up 1-0 and losing...so series far from over.

I know man, it's really sad. These "fans" aren't fans at all.

Trust me, there are a number of us who are reasonable, and who understand it's a long series.

But I agree. Game two is a MUST WIN.

So both teams had things not go their way...kind of unfair to focus on things that didn't work for one team, while ignoring it for the other team.

But honestly, I kind of felt that Derozan was going to play poorly in the playoffs. Pretty much his entire offensive arsenal is a pull up contested jumper from midrange. Going up against long, active defenders like Livingston and Johnson with that playing style plays right into their hands.

I thought the game was called pretty fairly. I didn't like the ticky tack calls against Ross in the first quarter which put him in foul trouble the whole game when he's the best defender on JJ, but overall I thought the refs did a good job. The only foul I saw that wasn't called on Brooklyn in the 4th was the Garnett on JV layup which should've been an and-1.

The Nets played okay, but were super dry from outside. The Raps played okay but got nothing from Ross (for obvious reasons), and DeRozan. This game actually gave me confidence as a Raptors fan because I was really worried about the experience factor, but we played BKN even the whole game. The Raps really never gave up and that's encouraging. I say Raps in 7 after this game because we're going to take at least one in BKN, book it.

And for my fellow Nets fans...it's just Game 1.

The Spurs beat the Heat in Game 1 at MIA in the Finals last year. Plenty of home teams have lost Game 1 and have come back to win the series.

No need to claim we've won the series. We got a long way to go.

If you go by the posts, you would think the Nets played the best game of the season, were completely on fire, and got every single call, while every field goal the Raptors missed was wide open, they never committed a single foul throughout the entire game, and the refs never called a foul on them.

People cry conspiracy so much that they can't even tell honest mistakes from genuine bad play. I don't know how you can even watch, let alone enjoy, if everything is a conspiracy.

This will be a long series.

The Raptors will play better. Derozan couldn't have played any worse. This is the first playoff game for a lot of Raptor players. Just chill and look forward to game 2.

I have to agree with you. HOWEVER, lets not be silly. The reffing the in fourth was bad and the RAPS didn't get respect.

That doesn't explain Demars play though. He took a ton of really, really bad shots that were unnecessary. Lots of playoff jitters on display here this afternoon.

I predict they come back and take game 2 before heading into BKN.

It bothers me every time an opponent / opposing fan base makes a reasonable comment as to why we lost and a Raptors fan responds by insulting the other fan base and team. We did not lose because of the refs, we lost because of our inability to attack inside and lack of help defense. DeRozan was very selfish today and Amir was nowhere. Nets have experience, toughness, and a well rounded team. We are offensively-challenged in terms of play-calling and the isolation plays did not help - we had no ball movement. Nets were foul-less in the fourth because they played great D, we did not penetrate, and we became complacent.

No one's saying we won.

But I think it's safe to say that the "Raps in 4" predictions were unwarranted.
