Alexis Sanchez reportedly got into a row with Gerardo Martino ahead of the Copa del Rey final when he was left on the Barcelona bench after he was assured he would start.
According to Spanish sports daily, Sport, Sanchez then told off Martino, calling him ‘spineless.’
Fernando Felicevich issued a statement “categorically denying” the reports.
“After speaking with Alexis, he requested that I categorically deny the version of events pertaining to an altercation with the manager of FCB. Throughout his 10 year career, he’s never at any point had any problem with his coaches, much less insult them. He’s always been a consummate professional.”
