Casey seriously needs to consider replacing Salmons with Fields. I dont think he can do any worse offensively but will give you a bit better passing, defense, and overall BBIQ. Otherwise I dont think he did anything wrong with the rotations or subs, the players just need to step up.

i gotta believe that landry might not be 100% right, if he doesnt play game 2.
I was one of those ppl who thought john salmons would be important in playoffs, as another ball handler. But for this series, the pg to big play is so much more crucial...And on the defensive side, neutralizing jj & pp...

I'm extremely disappointed with Demar, upset with Ross, and to some extent, with Amir, but we shouldn't let Casey off the hook as well. Seems to me that either he also got caught by the playoff jitters (poor adjustments, lack of good playcalling, etc.).

that was just awful. no idea how a simple little countdown led clock could just fail completely and the only backup we have is some dude with a horn and a stop watch.

WE need to win tuesday by double digits and I think we will. Gotta get at least 1 game in Brooklyn, preferably game 3 as well.

we needed to win todays game. now, fans are already going to be rattled since we're so used to disappointment. the momentum we had going into the playoffs has been deflated. coupled with the fact that overall we played really poorly, its hard to stay positive. then again, at least we aren't the pacers...

Thr pacers played real bad. Chemistry on the court was afwul and George Hill was abused by Jeff Teague all game.

I look at that Pacers team and im seeing a lot of trades that should have never happened. like george hill for darren collison amd kawhi leonard trade. this team seems to make lathargic moves and the players have no trust amongst each other evidently shown when lance turned the ball over and Hibbert look frustrated with that.

Raptors need to come out with energy and Ross needs to just ease up a bit as it seemed he was tight on defense which the oppostion baited him into some ticky tack fouls. I trust Ross will come back with a good game. Derozan just needs to attack the paint with force, draw fouls put pressure on the refs to make calls. This needs to happen in game two

Does anyone here think that ML square won't be as packed as game 1 because of this loss?

I'm thinking the refs did what they had to do, try their best to give nets game 1. Game 2 will be reffed a lot more fair and its on our players to step up, because if they do I can see us blowing them out. THe nets did what they had to do, steal a game and head home with a tied series. This is the time to look in the mirror, think and remember how we were a good road team. We can't forget what made us good, gotta get back to the fundamentals and get the next 2 games.

hard to tell about ML square. the first loss will definitely deflate some fans. but then again, at least the next game is at night, when people are prone to get a bit more rowdy.

i always have a bad feeling when we have a home weekend early afternoon game. we always seem to do very poorly in those time slots.

disagree. i think the first quarter was definitely a bit iffy on ref calls, but it evened out in the rest of the game. fouls were 19-23, with nets getting two techs, so the calls were fairly even.

doesn't help that the raptors are also one of the worst in the league at fouling.
