Oh yeah and just so were super clear Nash in Phoenix and Nash in LA were two totally different people. Everyone that actually watched Nash in phx knew he was still an elite point guard and had every right to be super excited about it. Him breaking his leg was a freak accident tho let's be clear and NOW his body is breaking down more and more. Certainly credit goes to deep for eventually being right about Nash, he didn't last as long as many of us thought he would, and that's really all that happened. Deep didn't predict the future, nobody thought Nash was gonna be an iron man, he just predicted it would happen before the rest of us and got it right.

But the more specific point I wanted to make is that Nash breaking his leg was freaky and he clearly never regained form after that. NOBODY could've predicted that.

Jetset was the original spam **** poster, in a time I like to call BE aka before earl. It was the renaissance really.

Currently were in the dark ages, but with the "Jim buss = Hitler" era seemingly over, I think I can see the light.

Earl doesn't know **** about ball...never seen him use more than one sentence when actually talking about the purpose of this forum, which is basketball talk

hate to be that guy but im pretty sure the dark ages were right before the renaissance. so destroy was the dark ages im the renaissance and we are nearing the age of enlightenment. Ok enough derailing. :)

I hope Nash retires and he stays with the Lakers earning what hes own as long as its taken away from the cap etc
Either way it is what it is. I look forward to next season.

the last thing I say that's off topic on this thread.
You're just mad because you didn't make the playoffs in our fantasy league. Get over it. Its just a game bro.

the true story of destro's demise was when he started religiously following a new "insider" by the name of chad evans, posting evans' info on the board as gospel, denouncing anyone that would challenge chad evans' word.

during this time a true informant arrived by the name of jason mclaed, nailing stories left and right, leaving evans behind. destro brokedown at this turn of events and was never the same, choosing to remove themselves from this new chad evansless era.

Doormatt wrote:Not that it matters to me but the reason jetset stopped posting had absolutely nothing to do with that. It's actually a much lamer reason, but something like that wouldn't have "buried" him. In fact he woulda just argued with deep more to prove a point. I say this cuz u don't seem to know who he was.

Dude was one of the better posters on this board easily, he made interesting conversations and had a lot of the same interests most of us do (specifically music). He's by far the only person that I wish still posted here (if only for the sake of the CT).

Pretty sure Ty misses him the most if we're gonna be honest
