We gotta take this game and make it a close series. Nets fans on the GB are getting unbearable, Kidd is pissing me off, Blatche is pissing me off. Just **** win the game.

Why in the blue hell is Blatche trying to act all cocky? Dude played like a complete scrub against us, he is not entitled to even open his damn mouth. I hope Hans knocks him out.

Our biggest weapon is down low. I wouldn't go small ball against them especially with Amir damaged. JV, PPat and Landry should start up front and KL/DD in the backcourt. Run GV, Ross, Hans and DeColo off the bench. Ten bodies. Amir looks like someone who is going to announce surgery at season's end. Medic said we played bad D. We actually played well bexcept for letting JJ go off on us at will and the spectacle of letting Pierce play swag hero. Those were man to man wing assignments if I'm not mistaken.

I think we win if amir doesn't pretend to be bargnani out at the 3 point line. Dude can't be dribbling 30 ft. Same with demar. He needs to run screens and become a catch and shoot player. De Colo needs more minutes if Ross is in could trouble but he needs to be smarter. The refs need to respect Ross. Or he won't be in this series at all.

keep abusing JV for everything hes worth. Thats what the playoffs are all about. Force them to double jv and hopefully that will open it up for demar to get going.

IS JV's conditioning really bad?
I thought he was our best/2nd best player last night yet he only got 35 minutes? We have 3 days rest so I'm wondering if Casey doesn't think he has the stamina to go longer than this? Heck DJ played 45 mins yesterday as did Marc. Playoffs are for shortening your rotation and playing your main guys longer minutes.

JV was visibly gassed out there. I think it was due to him being too excited his first PO appearance, and going 200% earlier on in the game, leaving him really tired by the 3rd quarter.

If the refs continue to call BS fouls on Ross and take away our X-factor and most athletic player/defender off the floor we are in trouble.

I was actually glad Casey let Ross play with 4 fouls last night. Showed he was growing as a coach. But he was still late reinserting JVAL back in at the 8 minute mark of the 4th rather than the 6 minute mark and should have had his team foul instantly at 38 seconds left int he game rather than wasting time to foul at 22 seconds...

What percentage of teams lost game 1 at home and won the series?

Hmmm good question. That I am not sure of. But I would assume it would be less than the 29 percent I stated before.

Think we got to tweak the starting lineup. Start 2Pat because he matches up better with Pierce, and Amir off the bench can guard Blatche or Plumlee who are two guys that didn't do much in the first game but I think will be an x-factor for Brooklyn this series if not kept in check.

If we do start Amir it is beyond stupid to have him getting the ball away from the basket, get him post ups against the smaller Pierce and make them pay on their end for that matchup.

Also, let Fields play whatever minutes Salmons was getting. He is a bigger stronger defender and can better handle Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce. Salmons is done, I'll be surprised if he contributes anything this series. I think Casey was setting up DeColo to get his minutes in the presser yesterday but he is too small on D, to take on Joe Johnson.

All i know is, the next game is literally a must win, i think we can start looking forward to the post-season if we manage to lose this next home game.

Salmons "airballed" a wide open 3 that the defense dared him to take. His confidence is done on his shot, in which case you are right bring in Landry who is better suited to defend PP/JJ
