Oh boy.

If thats the case (and I was wrong about DD on JJ) - CASEY is the  (one)

Joe Johnson lit us up - DD should of been on him longer, except that DD chucked and struggled on the other side of the court

I dont want to see John Salmons in a Raptor's uniform after this postseason.

In fact, I hope to God we dont see Salmons and Hayes on the court for the rest of these playoffs

First playoff game jitters, it happens to the majority of first timers. It wasn't like DeMar was the only player who didn't play well. Ross was bad, and Amir disappeared as well yet it's DeMar that gets the brunt of the blame. There are adjustments that need to be made and they'll be made. Now that they got a taste of what the playoffs are like they should be better prepared.

His poor shooting / selection was the main problem.
He got to the line and he played good D. Just needs to anticipate the double and take smarter shots , better than giving away the ball

I'm hearing there are going to be a ton of media personalities in Brooklyn for Game 3 (Rachel Nichols, CNN for one). Expect Game 3 to be the place to be in the NBA if the Raptors win Game 2 and the series is competitive.

When things go well, everyone wants to give all the credit to the all star demar. When things go bad, it's not just demar, lets point the fingers at others as well and share the blame right? Come on..........

And Ross doesn't even qualify to be in the discussion, because he barely played.

I don't even know how it was justified for DeMar to take 18 shots per game during the season when he shot 43%, that's despite the fact that he gets to the line a lot and is a non 3pt shooter. He better not try to force his game for game 2, it'll only make things worse for the team.

We didn't lose the game because of DeMar solely. Why was Ross a non factor? Because he got himself into foul trouble early and some of those fouls were avoidable. There were other factors that caused us to lose the game. Just like there were other factors that help us win games.

I didn't realize the teams that lose the first round also have a series.

That's not the sense I get when the Raptors win. It's always DeMar the all star supposedly carrying the team around these boards, no one else gets much credit.

Guess you just read mirrornick posts because other posters give out credit to other players on the team when we win. Don't sell the RealGM board short here.

DeMar is a superstar, don't sell DeMar short. The Raptors go as he goes.

BTW, about Ross. Perhaps he was a non factor, but at least he didn't hurt the team on the floor. DeMar played 37mins and hurt the team. I said this before, if you're not going to help the team, at least don't hurt the team. Stay neutral.

We never lose twice in a row. Chalk up a win.

I think by creating the backandforth dialogue, TL knows this will draw more viewers and make the NBA want to drag on the series.

Are you even serious right now? Umm it was his and almost everybody sans lowry, hans, and hayes first playoff games. A bad game is expected. Ofcourse you play your all star as many minutes as possible. Wtf are going on about? It seems like you just wanna argue to argue. Use some common sense.

You wanna play him 37mins okay, but what he does on the floor in those 37mins is what I'm talking about when I said he hurt the team. He took bad shots and played bad defense with poor rotations.

1) DeMar is not a superstar nor should the expectation be that he has to be one.
2) Ross not being on the floor hurt us because he helps space the floor and not having his defense hurts.
3) The team hurt themselves because they turned the ball over 19 times, that lost us the game.
