I kept telling everyone that Asik must play 35 mins a game

some people think Howard is like 7'1, he's not he's 6'9

and Jones is 6'7 actually.

that's 6'9 and 6'7

Need to play Asik at the center and play a play off half court style..
cause that fast break style just makes harden miss more. he's very inconsistent and has no concept when he's missing 15+ shots in a game.

6'8... I don't know he tends to play more like he's a guard. He doesn't rebound and really post hard the entire game like he should.

Asik wasn't going to play because of McHale. Fouls have nothing to do with it.

When I say play him, I'm being serious. Play him 48 minutes if possible.

with Parsons as the bench guy to come in

jones has 13 rebound in game 1 you're saying he doesn't rebound?
asik has 5 fouls in 12 min and mchale did go with asik early in the first quarter
did you even watch the game?

I just go by watching the game. Seemed like he wasn't there most of the time. But I'm pretty sure he was out there about 48 minutes. I'd take an educated guess that when he was out there, there must have been about 100 misses and you're saying he only grabbed 13 of them as a pf close to the basket??? Really he had more like 7 or 8 , I watched the game. but even yet 13 isn't that many in a game like that.

I'm saying they should START Asik and treat him like a star player so the refs won't use him as a player to meet a quota most likely.

The way to beat Aldridge is to score on him. So he has to play defense.

Haha what, Harden is one of the best fast break players in the whole league.

I do think Asik needs to play more but moreso on a matchup basis when POR uses a front court of both LMA and Lopez. If either one is out we can get away with Parsons or Jones at the 4.

oh yeah thats right jones and dwight only get to play barefoot...no
height is listed in shoes because everyone plays IN SHOES.

jones is 6'9 in shoes, and dwight is 6'10. jones is also 6'8 w/o shoes btw

for dwight to be the true defensive player he is, his team needs to have consistent perimeter defense and good coaching. we got none of that. we dont need asik taking up all that cap tho. trade him and lin in the offseason. maybe keep asik, if they can get the other players we ened

I thought they did double team him? (not entirely sure if recalled correctly) The thing is, he was too far from the basket and he passed the ball to another cutting player for an easy layup. The guy can shoot from three and post up. Man, we gotta figure out something other than TJ.

i feel this is much better than him spotting up shooting 18-20 footer
need to force him to shoot from baseline

I thought it was interesting that they didn't at least try DMO on LMA. What could it have hurt, his length may have caused LMA some trouble.

They play the twin towers 85% of the game.

Lopez is a legit 7'1
Aldridge is a legit 6'11

DMo, is really not as tall as some people say he is. He's 6'9 and arms aren't that long.

Aldridge would probably put up 50 on him.

you can't have haren guarding batum

howard, tjones, parsons, lin, beverley were playing pretty good until haren reenter the game
damn ball stopper slow down the offense and don't know how to play defense
