---------------------------------------

Emotions are high after winning game two in OT. The team's confidence is soaring going back to the phone booth.

Nene has his legs back, and has been spectacular in both games. Wittman has made all the right moves and has been one step ahead of his counterpart.

Let's put one more nail in the coffin and finish these jokers on our home court.

The VC is going to be flagged out...red, white, and blue T's...it's going to be crazy!

Where are the people who picked Bulls to win the series?

I wouldn't get too excited yet....i mean...get hype but It isn't impossible that the Bulls win on our HC. If they take game 3, game 4 has immense pressure on us. The guys need to come out and go for the jugular. Wall still hasn't had a great game yet (he's had decent ones) so I expect him to be ultra aggressive, but the guys have to understand the Bulls are backed up in a corner now, the dogs in em are probably going to make em come out with do-or-die borderline flagrant effort. The fact that Kirk had to resort to BS like he did to fire up his team should be telling of the talent disparity.

My only fear is that Wall/Beal press the issue in front of the home crowd, they're going to have a compelling feeling to perform well, it shall be interesting to see if they rise to the occasion. I like our chances in 6 game, but it'd be awesome if slammed the door shut essentially in game 3. The guys have the right attitude, stay humble and treat yourself like the underdogs. As fans I guess we're getting caught up in the emotion, so its good that the players are keepin' their heads right.

Btw, since I didn't catch the first 90% of the game yesterday, I read that we had a 17 pt lead, how did we manage to piss that away into a 10 point deficit? You have to really goof up for a 27 point swing... :nonono:

DJ Augustin came in and drilled 4 out of 5 three pointers, most of them were off the dribble and somewhat contested. That closed the lead to about 2 until we stretched it out to 7 again just before halftime.

We lost the lead in the 3rd and early 4th because we missed a boatload of free throws and couldn't get a call from the refs. It was really ridiculous for a while there. The calls finally started to go both ways down the stretch in the 4th quarter.

Make our FTs. Keep them off the offensive glass. We win. That's not overconfidence because we haven't been able to do either worth a lick so far this series. But in my mind its that simple.

So streaky hot shooting coupled with ineptitude at the charity stripe + questionable officiating...That is actually a little relieving...

I figure Ariza will get DJ...I'm honestly wondering why don't we trap him more, it isn't like he's a juggernaut PG he can see the pass over people. I'd like to see if subtle adjustments like that can be made.

Still stoked for friday, but at the same time...gotta feel cautious. It'd be nice if we could go HAM from downtown. I also think CHI has actually shot fairly well thus far, yah they've struggled but they're at their raw season averages, no? We should be better defensively at home, especially since they won't have their crowd feeding them energy off chippy plays.

DJ Augustin is their best scorer the wizards need to pay more attention to him and chase him off the 3 point line.

This is the game that scares me. Especially since were home. I think Chicago has too much heart & fight to just lay down.

They won't quit but it's like you said, this is the maximum the Bulls will play at. Game 2 was their best shot, maybe they have one more bullet left, but they're pretty much shot. Jimmy Butler didn't get off the floor last night, Noah played almost 50 minutes. There's no other gear for them to play at. My only hope is that the youngsters don't have "home playoff game" jitters.

We suck at home because its a weird vibe. Its always silent and halfway empty. The only time we play well is when we are playing a popular team because the place is either packed or the opposing team has a ton of fans so it feels like a road game. Last time we made the playoffs it was sold out and crazy. The same fans who sit in silence all game during the regular season were screaming non stop for the playoffs. I think that will make us play alot better
