my hockey buddies at work actually checked in to see what was going on... this morning we discussed the raps briefly before it swayed to hockey and i tuned them out

Ahhh this explains it. It didn't spike because of the Raptors.

It likely spiked the last minute because the Hockey game was starting. TSN cut right away to it because they knew they were going to lose the audience if they didn't.

Hope I'm wrong but that explains a whole lot. Especially if it was the very last minute.

610,000 average views.

Much better number then game one. Impressed, should grow even more for games 3 & 4 away.

The game had already started and was being shown on Sportsnet 360.

not sure who it was but they said the same hockey game was on SNET360...

Apparently it was also the 2nd highest watched game on YES ever, as well. They averaged 256k average views on their network.

Those Nets fans got a little taste of Jurassic Park, and tuned in for the Lost World sequel.
