Aroldis Chapman faced live hitters Wednesday for the first time since being hit in the head by a line drive on March 19.
"He threw all his pitches," Bryan Price said. "He was very sharp, good velocity. Good slider, good changeup. Looked like midseason form."
Chapman suffered fractures of his eye and nose along with a mild concussion. The Cincinnati Reds have been using Jonathan Broxton as their closer.
