i may drive down from queens to the game tonight. any parking tips on where to find some street parking? I can get to the arena area any time after 430. thanks.
BTW don't mind parking up to 10 blocks away either.

Dude, under normal circumstances you don't really find parking.
And you want to drive to the stadium? Even if you find a parking lot, expect to pay $20 minimum.
If you're only in Queens, the LIRR runs to the arena if you can't take the subway. Or if your past Jamaica Center, I'd park around and take the JZ line to Broadway Junction and transfer to the C line. Take the C to Lafayette and it'll take less than 5 min to walk to the stadium from there.

i know..its just a pain to get home after. im in jackson heights so ill have to take the subway theough manhattan and back.

You could take the 7 at 74St-Broadway to Court Square, transfer to the G and take it to Fulton St in Brooklyn.
Fulton is like a 5-10min walk to Barclays depending on how fast you walk.
I do see why you'd want to drive but I'd expect Brooklyn to super-packed with it being a Friday night and the Nets playing the only game in town.
