i don't think there is a final say until after the draft and the free agency period settles. Even then if D'Antoni is back, I wouldn't be surprised. He would simply be a scape goat in another possibly bad season. No point of bringing in a new coach just to have to go through an entire season with guys who might not even be back the next year.

I'm probably the only one going to say this, but I'm all for it. The only concern I have is that we may lose Hill/Kaman because of it < not worried about Gasol anymore

we need to sign defensive stoppers then, and pray Rambis step it up his defensive set.

MDA is not that bad, with current roster, bunch of d-leaguers or busts he overachieved a lot (bad thing for tank anyway)

Must've got word Lebron isn't opting out this summer.

Him and Nash can ride off into the sunset together after this upcoming season knowing they hosed the Lakers for millions of dollars while contributing absolutely nothing to the organization.

I'm with it now.

Reports said we'd base our coach on whoever draft right? I guess we're trying to draft a guard.

I really hate D'antoni and hope we get rid of him, but at least there's hope for the Lakers as long as Kobe is there. Last year Kobe basically said screw your ssol and stupid 3pt spacing/chucking, I'm gonna run the half court offense I want. I predict Kobe will turn us back into a good half court team.

After this recent success Portland's been having with a traditional lineup I would've thought we'd go back to a post up offense... guess not.

wouldn't be surprised if the lakers don't plan to make any major moves this off-season, just hold tight for another season. not like he's not a good option for getting a bunch of scrubs to overachieve and possibly raise their stock

anyway, per ding:
