such a mission finding face value tickets, I know supply/demand w/e blah blah blah

Well at least this way you could find some tickets. No one is going to gift you playoff tickets for face value.

On top of that, face value is a joke when ticketmaster raises prices themselves now according to supply and demand, why should everyone else be held at a different standard?

I don't know man, just looking over kijiji and even here lately feels like everyones turning into a scalper

30, 40, even 50 over face is understandable but 100+ come on smh even though I'll prob end up pulling the trigger closer to wednesday ahah

Its just the way it is, though I suggest you pull the trigger sooner than later. With my experience with the demand this year is prices only go up not down and tickets disappear. I even sell tickets that later on I see that have been going for more and I feel like I ripped myself off, the demand is crazy.

Also, you can try ticketmaster as they all of a sudden have tix available when they didn't before but like I said, they raise their prices according to demand so it wouldn't necessarily be cheaper.

What was the cheapest ticket to a playoff game on ticketmaster?? I don't remember. I mean, upperbowl, last row, nose bleeds.

First go-around, standing room was $50, think cheapest sitting was $90 although they've raised everything by around $20 last time I checked.

Game 7 Ticket question

Post#1384 » by garbageman » Tue Apr 29, 2014 2:38 pm

I was just wondering if anyone knows when game 7 tickets are going to be released on ticketmaster? I've been looking for tickets but haven't been able to find any yet. I'm assuming that they would be released before there was a guaranteed game 7, since I was able to get game 5 tickets before there was any guarantee of a game 5 actually occurring.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question, didn't know where else to go. Feel free to lock once the question is answered, thanks in advance!

Woah woah woah.... Game 7?

That game wont be needed, but thanks for showing your lack of faith in the Raptors.

Game 5s are more likely than a Game 7, which is why they were sold in advance.

Game 7 tickets will probably go on sale only after Game 6 simply because ticketmaster would have to deal with all the refunds and such if/when the Raptors beat the Nets in Brooklyn to take the series.

It's glaringly obvious this series is going to 7.

IIRC, SSH who purchases through pre-sale had to purchase 4 games? Is that not the case?

Not that I know of. I'm a TFC SSH, so I had access to only games 1, 2, and 5 like majority of the folks.

I do see some Game 7's listed on Stubhub, so maybe the current, or the new SSH have purchased those already at the discounted value they get them at, and will be refunded if the game doesn't occur?

If you are a SSH and wanted seats for every game then you could secure them up front by purchasing all of the games

Which, for good seats, was like 17k

Existing SSH got their seats for all playoff games in advance. We pay as we play (i.e. at the end of each round, we are charged for only the games that were played.

For any additional seats, we had to pay up front for all potentially games (i.e. 4 games/round). If it it like previous years, any games not played are either refunded or put towards the cost of the seats for next season.

These are the tix you are likely seeing online/studhub.

I anticipate ticketmaster/MLSE won't make game 7 available until after game 6 (if necessary).

17K? lol Im a SSH and didn't pay even close to that.. Actually how it works is you get your seats for the playoffs for each round and you pay AFTER the round is over (new this year) any additional seats you pay up front per round.

I assume the $17K refers to the additional seats. And it could get that high depending on what seats you're buying and how many rounds you choose to buy. I would guess the $17K is for round up to the Finals!
