What's wrong with my daughter or wife being pictured on Instagram and Facebook with black men?

Just so you know, I am a middle aged white guy and my middle aged white wife and my 18 yo daughter have plenty of pictures with black men. My daughter used to date the son of a black Toronto Argonaut.

In fact, you don't have to look very far online to find a picture of my white beautiful wife with Denzel Washington's arm around her.

I think it will be the million dollar fine and suspension, unless Silver really wants to impose his will on the league, then they'll take ownership.
"Easy woman. Easy. Don't make Leo slap you around again. Don't make Leo lay another beating on you. Don't make me call my friend Kobe". It was nice to know that I had not only Leo Rautin's back on this one, but also Kobe Bryant's.

I wonder if Adam Silver would represent the NBA in court if he bans Sterling. He's one helluva Lawyer from what I hear and maybe he's the guy who can end Sterling's reign of terror once and for all.

I mentioned it earlier, but I don't like that he tells someone else to protest without offering to do it himself first.

Excellent point. That shows he was being disingenuous. Not cool.

It is possible, but too often it seems like the opposite is intended.

Some guys are nuts, but there's been some aggressively sancimonious inferences made here about comments posted regarding Stiviano. Much social polo is being played. Re: Sterling, what more is there to say about him? He has said it all of himself- it's on on audio and court record- there's no need for a contest to see who's most offended. They're not on a pulley; to draw her down is not necessarily to send him up.

I do think that the Clips(especially Doc, who has been in the NBA as long as Sterling) might be acting a bit like spouses who have long known that their SOs have been cheating but become indignant when the cheating goes public and they're embarrassed. But I guess there's no unhearing that recording, so perhaps it just got real for them.

1/2 hour until Silver's PC. Fine, indefinite suspension and mass dissatisfaction? Then, Bayern/Madrid!

If Jackson were to switch places with Doc would he make the same suggestion? I doubt it. But then again I don't see Jackson accepting a coaching job with the Clippers either.

To be honest I'm suspicious of everyone who only now is saying the right things and claiming past ignorance. If I, a casual NBA fan who lives across the continent, is aware that Donald Sterling is a crap human being, people who've been in the league forever should and probably do know, and never said a damn thing.

Not that they shouldn't speak out. They should, loudly. But they also need to say, just as loudly, "I let Donald Sterling keep carrying on. I enabled." Because as far as these things go, averted eyes may as well be helping hands.

Under the terms of Paragraph 13 of the constitution, the owners can terminate another owner's franchise with a vote of three-fourths of the NBA Board of Governors, which is composed of all 30 owners. The power to terminate is limited to things like gambling and fraud in the application for ownership, but it also includes a provision for termination when an owner "fails to fulfill" a "contractual obligation" in "such a way as to affect the [NBA] or its members adversely." Silver and the owners could assert that Sterling's statements violated the constitution's requirements to conduct business on a "reasonable" and "ethical" level.

Paragraph 13 = NUCLEAR OPTION

Via TMZ.com
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has tentatively decided to suspend Clippers owner Donald Sterling INDEFINITELY and impose a multi-million-dollar fine -- but Sterling will NOT be forced to sell the team -- sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Sports.

We're told the suspension does NOT include members of Sterling's immediate family, but the NBA will have approval rights on who is running the team.

We're told Commissioner Adam Silver had a forensic expert review the recording and found no evidence it was altered and confirmed Sterling's voice.

And we're told ... an NBA investigator spoke with Sterling by phone after we posted the recording and the Clippers owner agreed to sit down for a follow-up interview but then changed his mind and backed out.

And we're told V. Stiviano told NBA reps the same thing we've reported ... that she had Sterling's consent before she recorded him.

One source tells us the fine has been tentatively set at $5 Mil.
