Game 4 wasn't played in LA.

I know, which is why i found it funny that he didnt request warrior fans to boycott their own home game.

My guess is that he was a mole to get Mark Jackson removed as head coach, and somewhere in between it backfired. Lacob may have fired Erman to save face

Adam Silver handled the Donald Sterling/Los Angeles Clippers controversy admirably as the new commissioner

guys on the Dubs board claim that he was a weird and paranoid guy who probably took his imagination too far.

I'll put it to you like this, Jackson might be looking at Lacob the same way Doc Rivers is looking at Donald Sterling right about now. This Clippers' controversy may have set off a wildfire, or like Mark Cuban stated, "a slippery slope"

The Warriors coaching situation is just odd. Not really sure what to make of Mark Jackson. He can motivate his players, but what does it say when one assistant refuses to speak to him and another is secretly recording his conversations? In terms of pure strategy, the Warriors run some of the best set plays in the NBA to get shooters open looks. The problem is Jackson lets them default into hero ball mode way too much and their production suffers because of it. It's just a weird situation.

I feel like they owe Mark Jackson a postseason with a healthy starting center (since Andrew Bogut is the epitome of injury prone) before firing him. That team went from mediocre into a dangerous playoff contender under his watch in just a couple years

Based on what's happened on the court I agree completely. My concern would be the off the court situation with his assistants. I don't know how much of it is Jackson's fault, if any is, but it just strikes me as an odd situation. I don't think he should be fired though for sure.

The team's offense could certainly be more imaginative but I agree with Jackson overall being a positive influence. He has installed a very good defense on a team that could actually have more capable defensive players and seemingly has been a huge reason for the franchise turning things around and becoming more serious about the type of play their team displays.

And, god, can the man deliver a speech. The players will/would probably burn out at some point but you can tell that they love Jackson and are ready to play their ass off for him.

Assistants are assistants, but Mark Jackson is the head coach. Jackson could easily replace the assistants to his liking, something I wonder if he had control of beforehand. Strike the shephard (Jackson), and the sheep (Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, David Lee, etc.) will scatter. I think if they fire Jackson at this point, early in their progression of becoming a contender, it will set a bad precedent towards their future

You're already in agreement with me, so I'm not debating, just fine tuning my statement

It took Gregg Popovich years on years (on years on years) to become a offensive savant of a coach. Jackson has gave the Warriors a base to stand on, and he's relatively new to coaching, so without a doubt I believe his offensive philosophy will improve in time, but it's not as if they aren't offensively capable. You explained it well though as usual 'LamarMatic7'

Good point. I guess you have to remember that for better or for worse Jackson is in his third season as a coach, period. And while you might point at it as a negative, you can look at it from the other way as well. The guy certainly has a knack for being a leader of basketball players and has turned his team into a mini-contender (and by that I do mean a very unlikely one though, to clarify) while learning on the fly.

so did anyone catch what former hornet larry johnson said about sterling?

Larry Johnson, the ex-Knicks player and now member of the executive office for the Knicks has recently made statements that seemingly call for an all-black league. A tweet sent out by Johnson, under the name @TheRealLJ2 says that black people are focusing on the wrong thing, saying that “We should be focusing on having our own, Own League.”

very disappointing from him.

wow, that's as bad as Sterling's remarks.

Should let him have an all-black league but allow Stirling to own one of the teams.
