I've always hated that stat they put out about rebounding. Don't the heat have one of the highest fg percentages of all time? There aren't many rebounds if you're making shots.
There aren't many offensive rebounds if you're making shots. It's the other side that we struggle with. Opponent OREB and our own DREB can't be good at all.

well if you want to look at defensive rebound takings for these 2013-14 NBA playoffs Heat are 9th in defensive rebounding

Thunder 37.0
Blazers 34.0
Pacers 33.2
Raptors 32.8
Rockets 32.8
Grizzlies 32.0
San Antonio 31.8
Bobcats 31.5
Heat 31.5

Raptors and Pacers are the only ones they will play in the east and the way things are looking now Pacers might be done by the end of the week.

Really hope Ray can get some shots to fall. I hate to say it but, I am starting to get that sick feeling in my stomach every time he shoots the ball. That Rashard Lewis feeling. Please Ray! I Believe!

First round impression:

The good:
LeBron
Birdman
JJ
Bosh
Cole
Chalmers

The Bad:
Everyone else

Expect the others to pick it up, except Rashard... don't expect anything from him lol

I want Brooklyn for 2nd round, atleast while on the road we can win for sure, as for Toronto home games they're too wild to predict anything.

No one is talking about the Wiz? They look like the best team in the East right now. They are clicking on all cylinders. Did you see how they easily dispatched the Bulls? It can easily be a Heat/Wiz ECF.

No ****. The Spurs are the one team that knows how to play Lebron. I am a huge Wade fan, but the fact is he is not what he once was and no matter the amount of remember the good old days will return him to that mantle. Somebody beat the freaking Spurs. Or else we need vintage flash and vintage Bosh. There is no other way this happens.

Ray is a vet. He will find that jumper. Like Shane Battier, they will be there when it counts. Lewis on the other hand? He will be there too but won't deliver anything but a soaked jersey after the game due to him playing 10 minutes of no statistical basketball.

With playoffs right around the corner, things are about to get serious..

Some question marks..

UD's back at the best possible time.

Is Shane getting the UD treatment, resting or what?

Which one of them will start?

Rashard Lewis is avg about 20 min since the loss @ Indy.
Is he here to stay or Spo's just testing him?

Norris Cole vs Toney Douglas: Who will get more burn?
[Unfortunately, looks like Cole's still ahead]

What's up with Wade? 9 games out for a harmstring?
Looks shady, tbh. He even skipped the national TV games.

Is Oden alive? What happened to him?

LeBron, Bosh, Rio, Ray and Bird are locks to play their usual roles.

And we can all agree that:

13. James Jones
14. Justin Hamilton
15. Michael Beasley

Please discuss

I don't and will never understand the hate for Norris cole dude was a very late round 1st round draft pick. What were people expecting?

In the nfl thats like the equivlent to like a 5th round pick which isnt expected to do much at the nfl level. Imo Cole has played up to his draft position and thats all you can really ask for.

Rashard is a vet.

I understand your hate of Leiws, but what makes you think he finds it, and Rashard doesnt? Rashard has hit quite a number of threes in his career too.

By the way -

Give me Toronto.

Thats a 4-5 game series. Maybe 6. No way 7.

I want 16 wins in the easiest fashion. No extra game. less tiredness, less injuries, less stress.

I'm with surf. I'd be perfectly happy with a Bobcats-Raptors-Wizards road to the Finals. Let the haters froth. As far as history is concerned, a ring is a ring. Plus, we earned some calm seas with our 7-game series in the ECFs and Finals last year.

Ray is a vet's, Vet. He has been in the league and never really dropped off. You know what your getting from Ray. Follow his career and he has been as consistent as anyone. Only drop off is due to age while Lewis got much better right before he got paid and dropped off right after. As a HEAT fan, I've seen Ray go through slumps and I've seen him kill it for weeks. In 2 season with Lewis, I have yet to see a SINGLE 2 week span of good basketball from Lewis. Sorry! I feeling for Lewis have everything to do with the player and what I see on the court.

Honestly I'd hate to play Memphis...

But if you're hoping someone takes out the Spurs before the Finals. It's probably them.

Memphis has two big boys and one of them can shoot, the other one is a true low post scorer. Bad matchup for Miami in a 7 game series.

^ Plus they guard LeBron better than anybody I've seen. We should be more concerned with Memphis than Spurs IMO, either way I' d say they both easily present the biggest matchup problems against the Heat.

Thunder is match made in heaven and so are the Clippers, but I really only see Memphis, Thunder or SAS making it to the finals.
