Mirza too.

Well, yeah, as far as role players are concerned, Mirza and Anderson came up big for us. I'm talking about our 4 key guys...Deron, Pierce, and KG were terrible. Johnson was the only one that showed up and played the way he needed to.

holy sh*t that game was wayy to close for comfort. Iso Joe just went absolutely god mode on us. That entire comeback was based off him. Every single game has been really tight down the stretch.

Anderson still has the dumbest plays sometimes. Every time he and Livingston foul a shooter, I want to Spartan kick them.

The **** part is even if we get past toronto which is a huge if atm the guys will be super tired vs a well rested heat team, we might get swept even if we advance.

Raps fan here. Good game. Just want to say that Johnson really won my respect with tonight's game. I was ripping him pretty hard mid-season when he got selected over Lowry for the all-star game. But he has been a beast this whole series outside of game four.

Even though the comeback came up short I'm still glad we made that run. It showed Kidd that joe needs to have the ball in his hands. He can create for himself; it doesn't strictly need to be in the post. Not only that but Mirza should be getting a lot more minutes. He's one of the best shooters in the league, even if he's not shooting the ball well, the opposing teams will think twice about leaving him open to double Joe.

He went through a stretch in January where he did it. It's not surprising to me.

Absolutely, I actually loathe Anderson...he's such a crappy player imo.

But where would we have been without his two 4-point plays?

Can't even begin to think about that series facing elimination in this one.

Agreed, but at the same time, didn't he give up a few 3-point plays on shots?

I think we could all agree that Plantar Faciscitis was an issue for Joe last year. This is not the same Joe we saw last year. This guy is a warrior, never gave up and willed this team back into it. Sucks that we couldn't pull it out.

I also like the idea of Mirza playing with joe. Joe draws so much attention that other guys get open looks from 3 and Mirza can make teams pay

I'm confused. I turned off the TV at half time, because I was so pissed off at the performance. Then I checked the box score throughout the 3rd quarter to see for any signs of a comeback, but the Nets ended up being down 26. Then I checked the box score with 3 minutes left to go in the 4th, and the score was tied at 101-101. I was like WTF.

Ended up watching the last 3 minutes of the game, and even though we ended up losing in an infuriating way, I'm not sure what to make of this. Should I be happy that we made a big comeback but fell short? Is there a morale victory in here? And what the hell exactly happened that we made it a close game in the 4th?

I hope Anderson picks up his player option, so we can trade him.

He still sucks and a large part of that 2nd quarter debacle. Nice to see him look like an NBA player in the 4th but when he shows up for an entire game and plays with an IQ, I'll Give him props.

I was off the Blatche bandwagon a long time ago. People are seeing why. He's a low IQ player no matter how much Kidd or whatever coach tries to work their magic on his talent.
