Battier not on rotation and Miller gone might cost us

Post#1 » by Aiolos » Thu May 1, 2014 1:35 am

These were not just any role players these guys hit huge clutch shots for us and without them Wade would have 1 ring only and Bron would be ringless.

Seriously I watch Mike MIller hitting clutch shots that is saving Memphis choking ass from basically losing this series against the Thunder and I think what the hell happened????

WHY DID WE LET MILLER GO WHEN HE WAS A KEY MEMBER TO WINNING BACK TO BACK SHIPS????

When Dereck Fisher was a free agent after the Lakers got back 2 back rings, Kobe went straight to the front office and said I DONT GIVE A FLYING FACK ABOUT WHAT IT COSTS TO GET FISHER BACK, YOUR ASSES BETTER GET FISHER BACK BECAUSE HE IS INTEGRAL TO THIS TEAM WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!

How did Riley let this ish happen??? Miller basically blew OKC out by himself in Game 5 for Bron to get his first ring.

Battier is hurt so thats just bad luck but freakin Miller???

:nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Rashard Lewis is out their brickin like there is no tomorrow, that bum might cost us.

You can say whatever you want about Wade being injured, Cole sucking sometimes, Miller being made out of glass, Battier going cold, Ray going cold, Haslem sucking at times, and Chalmers making bonehead mistakes but all of them have consistently come thru for us when it mattered the most.

I know people are going to talk about contracts, give me a break..... a championship makes more sense.

I don't think I've read one post of yours that isn't criticizing the team or freaking out.

I am only not locking this thread because I wish to comment on such "prisoner of the moment" panic talk. Miller was a loss and trust me I would love to still have him but make no mistake.....we have guys who WILL come through. first round displayed James Jones..who knows who is next. but don't underestimate our depth please.

Thank you LEIF for not locking the thread.

If I offended anyone or sounded condescending I apologize for that.

LEIF I'm just concerned about losing 2 key members.

Ask yourselves this question, do any of you believe that the Lakers would have done their 3 peat without Derek Fisher and Robert Horry?

I dont. Key role players are essential to winning championships and we lost 2 of them.

If you believe we dont have the crucial role players to threepeat, then stop watching.

Mike was great but it was move Riley done and he felt it was the right move even though everyone disliked the move it was a business decision.

It's just the first round no need to panic about the bench so far Cole and Jones stepped up who knows who will step up in the second round you never know the whole bench might go off in round 2 hopefully our guys stay healthy and everything will go well

Seriously...

Miller is overrated around here and on RealGm and on TV. People need to stop talking about Mike Miller like he is Manu Ginobili or Jamal Crawford.

Miami Heat gave up on a NO D spot up shooter that rarely played and getting paid 6 million a season when the entire team is filled up with No D spot up shooters getting paid 1 million to 2 million.

It's not that serious.

Let me start of with:

Keep your emotions in check you´re here whining about Mike Miller dropping clutch shots? Miller was in pain practically the whole time he was with us, he was an integral part of the chips, but before you start crying over the fact that we don´t have Miller go take a look at how they´re using him. He is far more effective because he is allowed to do more things.

Battier is not injured he is just not in the rotation at the moment, like last years finals he will step up when he is needed he is a professional, and don´t count Lewis out just yet. He might have something left in the tank in the later rounds.

Finally how is this even the time to start complaining about lacking shooters? We just took care of business, our backs aren´t against the wall and at the end of the day we have: Chalmers, Allen, Battier & The big 3 to rely on when they´re needed. And you bring up Fisher? Really? It might not have something to do with the fact that if Fisher didn´t get resigned they would be left with Vujaveic, Brown, Farmar and Artest as they´re steady veterans?

Spoelstra matched up well vs the cats. There was no need to use Battier when Udonis was the better choice. I did however wanted to see Battier at sf taking some shots most likely that will happen next round. This thread not needed.
