How can you hate on Casey for not playing JV... If wasn't for Casey recognizing JV poor defensive rotation game 4 do you think we would be up 3-2... Casey is great defensive coach, great motivator and overall the perfect coach for this young team.

Sure, who is to say we wouldn't have won that game easier?? He is our biggest mismatch advantage in the series, I think they should use it more.

On the offensive end yes he is big mismatch, but the defensive end he is liability... because he is not mobile enough and is just too slow on rotation ... In the 4th Q unless Amir or 2Pat are sticking the court I like to see more of them and less of JV and Hayes..

I agree is he is not a great help defender, but his rebounding is much better than Amir's & Pat's. That combined with his offence and offensive rebounding is why I would like to see a lot more of him in the 4th.

Please tell me how Casey is such a great coach? His mind boggling rotations and substitutions almost cost up another game. How the heck do you let JV to rest for that long during the 4th? How do you NOT put in Fields knowing full well Salmons nor DeMar can't guard Johnson? He's lauded as this defensive guru but the Nets shot 53% from the field tonight.

Without Lowry's clutch shots down the stretch, this game is a L. That's on Casey.

As much as i don't want to blame anyone on the team, this WAS 100% on casey for that meltdown, riding vasquez /amir and or pat, turning the ball over and over, letting joe heat up, and finally bringing lowry bk in with 6-7 mins and were only up 11? You're joking right? If we lost tonights game Casey would have been fired if we lost tonight and gm 6. Lucky Casey that Lowry finally came to play, when it mattered. (shots falling)

* I still believe masai will shift casey to defensive assistant coach, and hire a better Head coach in the off season, Casey can't head coach or keep a lead for his life.

You should give the players some credit for the 3 four point plays in the 4th. 12 points on 3 possessions.

Google YouTube video from last year's European Championship Bosnia-Lithuania. He dropped 37 and some of 3s were crazzzzzzy. The commentator goes absolutely bananas. By the way Valancunas played there too but was invisible.

I gotta say, that last in-bounds pass was the stupidest thing I've ever seen on a basketball court.

There was 1 second left, and they had no timeouts. All you had to do was throw it towards their rim and touch the ball in any way possible.

INSTEAD, we(who was it?) throw it at our rim!! Giving them a chance at a miracle tip in or something..

Jesus christ, what a **** show this game was.

I've seen a couple posts on the General Board about JV nearly goaltending/making a dumb play. It was backcourt violation, he can swat the ball if he wants to.

NBA.com saying the same crap too with this video:

Well they are **** morons, Imagine ariza and beal dealinig with PP and JJ. John wall on D-Will. Heck if only Bulls have a D-Will caliber in their team I dont think they'll win a game. John Wall was trash all series it was Nene and ariza and gortat who pulled the team

He was trash...

and still put up 19/7 though.

That shows you how talented he is. Wall was playing his "C" game and they won in 5.

Wall > Lowry and DD

No GM would take Lowry or DD over Wall. I'm not sure they'd take them over Beal either.

However, I do think Lowry has more heart than all of them.

Wall is overrated as f. You know Ross locks him up when they play right? Except this one game when ross got injured

I know we are all feeling down about not being able to hold the lead. But look at it from another perspective, the Nets had:

    - 44 points in the 4th quarter
    - Three 4 point plays
    - Joe Johnson couldn't miss
    - A Raptor team that went crazy cold

And yet they still lost. Any one of those things in a 4th quarter usually would mean you win. Yet they had all of them, and still couldn't beat us.

I'm more pissed that we had been dominating the game and Brooklyn look deflated and resigned to the fact the Raps are the better team. This 4th quarter meltdown may cost us the series. Had we cruised and won by double digits, I had little doubt we would have won game 6. By almost blowing it, the Nets have something to build on and I can see them winning the next game easily. Then we get to game 7 and although it's better to have home advantage, the Nets will be more at ease because of experience

Like Vlade said. Teletovic was the best player in Europe before coming in the NBA.

And it's Teletovic, you sound like an idiot more than anything else, as it's not that funny tbh.

This is not being talked about enough. I almost had a heart attack there. Why would you make such a dangerous pass towards your own net? Who was the inbounder anyways? If better not have been Salmons.
