According to NBC

" Rather than attempt a game-tying 2-pointer, Blatche dribbled out toward the corner. But before he got beyond the arc, he spun and passed to Deron Williams. The ball sailed over the head of Williams, who ran into the backcourt, picked it up and heaved it dangerously on track toward the rim.

Standing near the basket, Jonas Valanciunas poked the ball on its way down, still allowing it to hit the rim. Valanciunas almost certainly saw a backcourt-violation signal, mostly excusing him. But why risk misreading a referee to make that play? "

Most media outlets are making a big deal about the possible goaltend.

seriously stupid... they already blew the whistle before the shot went up... they always do that thing where they prevent the ball from going in the net after play stoppages... every player does it... this is a complete non issue and it's just terrible and lazy reporting... just don't let any raptors read that and let it get in their heads... it's just bull.

AA would make us stray away from the proper shot takers but salmons is just useless.

also another positive, valanciunas is looking like a legitimate post presence in there... he's nearly automatic when he gets the ball deep...

If I knew how to upload a photo I would show the realgm world that I was the guy that got rejected with the kiss lol. I have a photo on my phone, but thought it would be easier to throw it on here. Heavy rejection, daily BJ's for the next year for my gf to make it up to me.

primecougar wrote:why the hate for salmons? he plays joe johnson really and joe made a couple of tough shots, i swear one layup was a fluke. you guys are over rating fields. i watched that game and the only time fields did anything was when he got the steal. every other time, we doubled hard/or hedged on the pick and roll. as **** as salmon is on offense, he's still getting defended. they just leave field wide open and that hurts our offence even more.

Rewatch the games then, because you have no clue what you're talking about. Fields was so good on Johnson, that Joe was never even thinking about shooting the ball. He couldn't do anything against Fields. Couldn't post him up, couldn't drive past him and couldn't get open to save his life. He was an absolute non factor with Fields on the court. Yeah, our offense might not be that good with Fields on the court, but what does Salmons provide offensively anyway? When was the last time he hit a shot? He's useless offensively and useless defensively.
