If you pause at 48 seconds they both are jumping for the ball, and DD is jumping straight up. How can DD foul someone he can't see whos behind him, when he jumps straight up.

I didn't say that they both didn't jump for the ball. They both tried to get the rebound but Livingston got there first and is the only one out of the two to get both his hands on the ball. The point is that DeRozan colliding into him prevents Livingston from securing the rebound himself, and land cleanly. DeRozan gets to the ball late and doesn't make any contact with the ball.

Like I said in the other post, it all happened very fast so it's easy to miss (especially since the ball was able to get to Blatche), but it's still technically a loose ball foul.

I can't even tell after watching the replay 4x if he got both hands on it or not, definitely a play on in my opinion. Especially since livingston was coming from behind. Could have even been an over the back call going the other way.

I'm using both angles to come to my conclusion, not just the replay one. In the live action angle, Livingston gets to the ball ahead of DeRozan, so he isn't coming from behind. On the replay angle, you can see who gets the ball first and with two hands. I don't know how you can't see that after watching that replay 4x. I watched it frame by frame (use space bar on youtube), and Livingston does have both hands on the ball at one point.

But that doesn't change what we cannot control. The fact is that Lowry flopped throughout this game (and the entire series). And it absolutely does make a difference when the game is decided by two points. What you're telling me is to not complain about an opposition player flopping his way to a win? Do you realize how it would have been if the situations were reversed? If Lowry was a Net instead, how much of an outrage Raps fans would express over his flopping?

Just because we **** sucked tonight doesn't make Lowry's flopping alright. It's a disgrace to this playoffs series, this league, and this sport. And the sad part is that no one really acknowledges Lowry as one of the NBA's worst offenders in flopping.

Never seen a guy flop as much as he does. On offense and defense, he's CONSTANTLY flopping. The dumb ass refs fall for it every single time. At some point, you need to actually see foul-worthy contact. Someone flailing on jump shots and falling any time he's touched shouldn't be enough for momentum swinging calls.

That AA "charge" was absolutely terrible. AA didn't extend his arm or lower his shoulder. Lowry just fell like there was a sniper in the arena. Don't the refs review the tape, see that this guy is a massive flopper and stop giving him the benefit of the doubt for EVERY single call?

JJ got whacked on the arm on the last layup he missed too. Would love to see how that call would've went if it was DD or Lowry taking it.

Hard to say Pierce and Garnett have pride, when they were justifiably benched for playing like crap. Pierce with his lazy passing leading to 5 TOs, and KG just being totally ineffective in his 12 minutes. They HAD pride, when they played for the Celtics, but they've given up on this team imo...and I can't really blame them. Bet you they wished they got to play with Lowry instead of Deron this year, after watching that performance.

What a heartless sack of **** Deron is. Makes me so angry when I remember how much I used to defend him and how much excitement and hope I had when we first acquired him. He completely **** ed this team over.

What the hell is KG suppsosed to do in a total of 11 minutes, when he plays them in 4 minutes stints?

Kidd has mishandled him from the start, it's a travesty. No basketball player is going to be effective that way, espeically someone whos played 1300 games in a certain way. Kidd is just AWFUL at handling minutes. He's begging for KG to be ineffective by not giving him proper minutes.

I'll be furious if KG doesn't play 30 mins the next game. There is NOTHING more to save him for. It's do or die.

He'll play just as hard. It's just who he is. Lowry would never play harder just for money, that just isn't him. This guy has the biggest heart I've ever seen, and it's genuine ,not money motivated at all.

People assume he's playing like this because it's his contract year, but it' him improving his relationship with Casey, and maturing as a player. It just happens to be his contract year.

Coming out of a timeout with the Nets up 8 the ball went to Anderson in the corner who drove it on Lowry who flopped. Thank god no call was made and Anderson made the layup to cut it to 6

After Joe hit the 3: Lowry falls to the ground when bumped by Mirza in the backcourt. I would say it's a foul, but Lowry still sold it.

Next possession flops on Anderson's drive to the basket.

Game 1 he had a big flop against DWill in the 4th, another one in the 4th of game 2 against Anderson. There have been others in less critical moments of the game. The NBA clearly doesn't take the flopping issue seriously or he would've been fined. It's an absolute joke that he hasn't been fined once, I'd love a no biased Raptors fan to tell me this man hasn't flipped once this series

Unfortunately we are both condemned to having incompetent coaches Casey & Kidd.
While Kidd sat KD also Casey sat JV in 24 minutes 16pts. and 6 rebounds amazing.

Well.. I thought we were gonna loose this game coming in it. Raptors had too much momentum closing game 4. and Raps fans being fired up on the road win. The fact that we came close to win with a 24 point deficit is something to build on. This is what's good on having a veteran team they won't get phased but at the same time we now know we can fight back. This is a bigger victory for us than the raptors because the raps showed their Ace in the hole. This team can still play better than we did tonight. This game is still 50/50

It's because we actually built a momentum. We haven't been able to shoot the whole series except for this game. Yeah we lost but, again I never thought we would win game 5 and not many others thought the same. You need to understand we need this kinds of stride for this team to grow more. What I mean is this team has a better understanding of what it takes to win because of this game. i.e. having this type of game, if we survive this series, it will give us a bigger boost on playing against better teams. If we took the lead 3-1 and beat the raps in an easy series this team will have a much more stubborn mentality. Which will most likely loose to the Heat. Since this team literally only worries about the game plan and believe we can roll on them just for that sole reason.

if the momentum couldnt carry us to close out 3 minutes, why in the world would it carry us to close out 96 minutes?

to think you would rather be down 3-2 and have "momentum" instead of being up 3-1 is seriously beyond idiotic. you know what gives us a REALLY poor chance at beating miami? losing to the raptors and not advancing. And the thought that we would have any chance against miami if we did advance is pretty homerific anyhow.

The Nets have played like garbage two games in a row and this guy is talking about momentum?
