Haha, I am sure he was wondering "this is why they got me here?" on the bench!

Yeah, I think Chalmers and Cole will do a respectable job on Lowry because they match up well size and speed wise (Lowry will get his regardless, but he is not lightning quick or anything).

I don't really want those guys on taller shooting guards because they just shoot right over them.. I think Wizards guards will give them fits because of their size and speed (and outside shooting to some degree).

I don't know, 3 years in the playoffs and Chalmers has shown up. Same with Cole. Only our first year when we were limited to Mike Bibby did we struggled against PG's.

I believe Toronto gives us issues because they can score from all positions and are dangerous when they move the ball around throughout the shot clock in the perimeter for open shots (the one way to beat Miami's defense). But most often than not, Toronto gets caught up on the one-on-one game. Our team feasts on that.

Toronto doesn't match up well with us at all.Our hedging defense has been taking great PGs out of the game for years now and their second best player is a guy who shoots long 2's all game. Also who in the world on their team can guard LeBron/Wade in the post. LeBron and Wade are going to feast on Ross/Derozan and open up plenty of shooting opportunities. Also its been nearly half a decade since the Raptors beat us, let that sink in.

Toronto is just flat-out garbage, period. They gave up 22 points lead in 6 minutes with a series of mind bogglingly idiotic plays. I don't think either team poses us much of a challenge in the next round.. I wish I could just push the skip button and move on to the ECF 8-)

KD will prob go ham and have 50-15-5 and have the media licking his **** again while Indiana pounds the Hawks by 20+ :(

Okay maybe not exactly like those, but i'm really not getting my hopes up lol. Nonetheless, Go Hawks and Go Grizz! (not scared of any, but watching em lose in the 1st round is )

It's embarrassing honestly. When you say you "fear" another team I just can't do anything but laugh. Cowards on here acting like the Nets are last years Spurs or something. I wouldn't mind facing the Nets at all in the second round tbh. I feel like we owe them an ass whooping
I'm not saying they got lucky but its obvious the nets didn't play us at our best

Its mind boggling. I didn't see this type of fear when we played Boston or Chicago and they whooped us in the reg season as well.nets beat us a combined 3 times by 3 points. Off back 2 backs and when we were missing wade for I think two of them.

People on here are scared of anybody these days, it's annoying. I remember how a lot of these cowards were fearing a first round matchup with the Hawks. I bet if the 76ers were to make the playoffs these cowards would fear them too. People are too obsessed over the Mavs series in 2011. Nets play a similar style & got these dudes ****' their pants. We're a much different team than we were in 2011 & I wish the 2011 Mavs were still around so we could whoop their ass this year too

I don't know man.. it's partially the team's fault that some of us are being total chicken sh*t these days.
We did get embarrassed by some lousy teams like the Sixers and Jazz and Nets, repeatedly this year.

They planted some seeds of doubt in the regular season, so I am giving some fans a pass for being a bunch of total pansies 8-)

I'm sure that every player on the HEAT team is confident, and that's all that matters to me.

Finally. At least someone in the media sees it. From the Score.

The real story here isn’t that Joey Crawford somehow psyched out Kevin Durant, it’s that Durant appears to be immune to criticism, especially when there’s an easier target nearby for fans to pin the blame on, like Crawford…or Russell Westbrook.

During a bad shooting night for Westbrook that also turns into a bad night for the Thunder, Twitter timelines are filled with observers lamenting the point guard’s decision making and true value to Oklahoma City. Tuesday night was no different, as Westbrook went 10-of-31 in a crushing Thunder loss. The thing is, Russ also recorded a triple-double in Game 5 and was OKC’s best player for most of the night. Durant went 10-of-24 himself, shot just 3-of-6 from the free throw line, committed six turnovers compared to just two assists and probably could have done better than immediately launching a three-pointer with over two seconds still remaining in overtime.

If it was LeBron James at the free throw line when Crawford decided to steal the show, would people be blaming the ref or foolishly talking about LeBron ‘choking’ again?

No one would dare bring up the ‘Ch’ word when it comes to KD, though.

People see it in the media but like i've said before Westbook is a scape goat for KD. No matter how bad KD plays, all the blame would go to Westbrook for his decision making & not giving KD the ball when really Durant doesn't put any effort at all into getting the ball. I would love for Westbrook to leave that team so there will be nobody left to blame for Durant's horrible performances...Hell if it wasn't for Westbrook this OKC team would've been swept already

Tbh I actually loved most of our 2011 playoff games. BOS/CHI games were mostly CLUTCH as hell filled with LeDaggers. That OT game in BOS, That game 5 closeout to eliminate BOS, every Heat/Bulls game especially that epic comeback. All **** went to waste cuz we all know how that season turned out. Too bad :nonono:

It's about time. This needs to come from national media though.. maybe after tonight 8-)

I respect KD's response to this news article though. He is supposed to be the man for that team, so man up.

Durant on The Oklahoman's headline: "That's what they're supposed to write. I didn't come through for the team."

It's disappointing, because at this age Lebron was being railed for losing in the playoffs. The media is far more sympathetic of "injury" excuses and being "too young". Lebron never seemed too young, he just seemed NBA ready from the beginning. Also, the dude just clearly had GOAT potential, and so people were constantly frustrated that this supposed GOAT-level guy kept getting bounced in the playoffs. No one thinks Durant is GOAT-level, all they've ever said (until this season) is that he's a phenomenal scorer.

I still think it's BS that he doesn't get more criticism, but I have faith in the media. If Durant loses in the first round now, and doesn't make the finals next year, he'll be hounded mercilessly, especially after winning an MVP. Expectations are only rising for him at this point.

No chance raptors win 4 games off us, but lowry is going to be a headache, a small fast guard thats playing at the top of his game. It will be entertaining.
