I felt it coming when we were up huge.

Every time they scored I knew something was up.

NO MORE OF THAT. MY HEART CANNOT TAKE IT.

Yeah, I felt it coming too.

When they got at -15, I knew there was a game coming in.

At every 6-0 run, in the 4th, whatever the score is, you have to call a time out and slow their tempo so they can cool down.

Anyway, even if we win these series, we have to find a new coach.

Casey did. It was posted yesterday. Forget the exact times but it was something like -20, -13, -8 he called timeouts.

The team as a whole should be held accountable for that 4th quarter. That said, I think people are dwelling on this way too much. We got the result we wanted, even if the way it was done wasn't satisfying to watch. This team should be ready for game 6, they've been through worse **** than this.

I'm sorry, I thought I added "with major changes in the line-up"!

Oupsies.

By "Major change in the line-up", I mean:
o Change the player who's guarding whoever's on fire on the other team;
o Big post presence;
o Change the tempo, either slow it down (for us it's Vasquez) or make it faster (with Lowry).

So Apparently We Allowed 28 Points On 8 FG In The 4th

Post#1088 » by Scarface844 » Thu May 1, 2014 6:39 pm

LOL. Fouled 3 3PT shooters with all the shots going in making it 12 pts, fouled 2 players who drove giving them the conventional 3pt play so 6pts and then we gave up 2 wide open 3PT shots and wide open layups/post ups. Is this team high? How the **** do you allow 28 points on 8 FG? That's nearly 4 points on every possession.

Can't remember the last time I have seen 3 4 point plays in 1 game, let alone 1 quarter.

3 4pt points and 2 3pt plays and multiple wide open 3s/layups. This team was completely out of it in the 4th. Nets deserve credit for the comeback but even the guy on ESPN said we pretty much did everything a team could do to allow them to comeback.

Im gonna repeat this, we allowed 28 points on 8 FG. That's nearly 4pts on every possession. We let them get and 1's every possession down, just a pathetic performance.

Anyone know is this is the most points allowed on this number of FGA in a quarter? Or any other stat like that?

During half time yesterday the entire Raptors team somehow made their way to a fraternity party and didn't waste time turning up. This was the footage that was captured:

I'm sure we set the record for most and 1's, most and 1's on 3PT shots, 44pts allowed in the 4th in the playoffs, 28 on 8 FG which is nearly quadrupling each FG. No proof but I don't know how any NBA team could of done something stupider then us last night.

This seems to happen to Toronto sports teams at least once during every playoff appearance. Happened to the Leafs last year. Happened to the Argos. Hopefully that patented Toronto Playoff Collapse Karma has blown its wad for the season last night.

What a SCARY game, my heart cannot take anymore of that. This is gonna be a tough game six, no matter how much we are up, or even if we do hold a lead. Brooklyn will know that despite the deficit they can make a comeback after that performance. Joe Johnson looks like a high school kid out there against an elementary defender.
