i just fear pop and their ball movement more than anything. and gary neal is gone but danny green is still going to shoot 77% against us

memphis is a worse matchup but their offense can get bogged down and they go thru stretches where its tough for them to score. plus they only have 1 guy who can handle the ball and penetrate in late game situations. their best 1 on 1 players are bigs. its tougher to get your big man a good 1 on 1 shot in crunch time

I know its a very long shot but is anybody potentially worried about the trail blazers ??? i really like them as a team... if and thats a BIG IF lillard and Aldridge keep this going along Batum and Mo Will they could make some noise in the western conference ... they could create some problem for us... plus Bosh has some notorious problems guarding Aldridge this past few years...

The only team I think might be the problem for us are the Spurs. Grizz haven't got enough offense, Clips have nobody to guard James (or Wade for that matter) and OKC is self explanatory. TBH I don't see any other team coming out of west.

if the Nets end up advancing, we better play fast. run them out the gym. there's no way brooklyn should be able to hang with us...ESPECIALLY after a 7 game series with the Raps and no break in between series

Chris bosh always outplays Aldridge and this the first time miami has been completely healthy going into the playoffs I think we are about to see an epic run to be honest

Portland is a very easy matchup for Miami.

i dont agree but why bother there is like 1 percent chance of that matchup happening in the finals so yeah

Portland doesn't have enough depth to make it to the finals this year IMO. They basically have only 1 capable bench player (or sometimes 2, when T-Rob decides to show up). Even if they do, I don't think they last more than 5-6 games against the Heat.

My biggest fear is someone pulling a Danny Green against us.

That game where he and Neal were unconscious from deep, scarred me.

I don't expect Portland to make the finals, but they could. You never know especially with the leading western contenders like the Spurs, Thunder on the ropes. If the Spurs and Thunder lose their game 7s everything is up in the air. Heck, it's possibly that the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, and Rockets all won't be in the 2nd round though it's unlikely all 3 of those team's lose their game 7s.

I dunno what you're basing that off since based on past history, Bosh has indeed pretty much dominated when faced Aldridge. Maybe it will be different in playoffs, but I somehow doubt it.

Either way I'm more worried about who we face next round. Nets would be a more annoying matchup as I can't stand the sight of KG's ugly mug, but I doubt we lose to them or Toronto. Washington, Indiana and Atlanta though could be big challenges.

YOUR MIAMI HEAT VS BROOKLYN NETS ROUND 2

Post#220 » by bksballer89 » Sun May 4, 2014 8:30 pm

We got this in 5 boys. I don't get what you guys so afraid about.

Brooklyn only chance to make this into a long series is by stealing one of the first 2 in Miami. When Miami win the first 2 games we'll finish these boys up fast

Return to Miami Heat
