McDonald's in Taiwan.
And I don't blame McDonalds for the obesity. There's KFC and McDonalds all over the globe. You don't see the obesity around there. It's food in general in America that makes everyone obese.
Im going to assume that's because ast food isn't as cheap and available in other countries.
While living outside the US, I notice food is made from fresh produce from farms, I eat more veggies and fruit, and theres less sodium and fat in my diet. Also I cut back on fast food since there are better options and are much cheaper.
On a daily basis, I get a fresh coconut for something to drink which I never found in Cali or any place I lived in the US that didnt cost me over $5 or so. I just bought two coconuts and its about $2.
Also portions are tiny compared to the States. When I go to the movies, I dont have an option for those 1 liter size sodas and the large tub of popcorn with free refills. The large sizes here are like medium size in the US.
I think Americans would gain a lot more perspective and appreciate if you could travel and live in other parts of the world some time in your life. I wished I did it sooner.
